    I love it. Our doberman puppy arrives June 30, and I'm anxious to make this collar for her. Thanks so much.

    How do you push the rings through each other when they are the same size?

    • @ulyssedebove150

      You make your cord go inside by pushing it through one, you don't try to pass a ring into the other

    Hello! A few questions for you:
    I would like to know how you figure out the length of your collar. For example, if the dog's neck measures to 15 inches how would you do that with this style? I know the amount of cord ratio, but do you add any extra braid with it, or?
    Also, I'm honestly unfamiliar with slip collars, so would the leash clip onto one of the rings and that's how you would keep it tightened on the dog?
    Thank you, love this style!

      Hi, with slip collars they need to be big enough to easily slip over your dogs head. An easy way do to that is to take your tape measure, or even some string will do, pop it loosely around your dogs neck so it creates a full circle, then try to slip it over your dogs your dogs head, if its too small, slowly keep making your circle bigger until it easily slips over the dogs head and that will give you the length you need to make your collar.
      the leash will clip onto the o ring that doesn't have the paracord going through it. the idea of the collar is to stop dogs pulling on leashes. While standing still or walking with a loose leash the collar will sit loosely on your dog but when they start to pull on the leash the collar will tighten, when it gets too tight it forces the dog to back off and the dog will eventually figure out that if they stop pulling on the leash, the collar wont tighten so they stop doing it. these collars are not meant to be wore all day, only during walks. hope this helps, let me know how you go!

    I really like this weave as it's easy to do and feels nice - easy tutorial. Watch for when they switch the O Ring over towards the beginning (0:27 then 0:40) so you can make sure you are the right way up before you start weaving! The bigger problem is the weave is too thick and wide (if you are using Paracord 550) to feed through the 1" O Ring to finish. Interestingly, this part isn't shown on the video...

      @Paracordingaround  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    if I'm making a collar that will be 18" will I have to use 18 foot of paracord in total or 18" for both coloured sides?
    Never mind. I figured it out. It is 18 foot each side for those of you who wanted to know. I’ve made 5 of them now

    Why does it say 1 inch per foot? If you're making a two-color collar, it appears that you need 1 inch for each. I was tying to make a 24 in collar and cut 24 feet. Now I need another 24 feet?

    • @crazydogvanlife5322

      for a 24 inch collar with 2 colors you will need 24 feet off each color so that will be 48 feet total
