    That Auxiliary "E" you could do power beyond. Lets say you wanted to run a hydraulic cylinder to raise and lower your front snowblower. You could run "E" to a spool valve and then run that cylinder.
    Also, The John Deere 318's have threaded ports on the hydraulic power steering valve. Making life a lot easier than trying to make hard line with the O-rings.

    I was wondering if the power steering or power assist off of a 1862 would work? Thank you very much for your video! I'm going to try several of your mods.

    Sure looks like I could put power steering on my cub original by adding an external pump for steering, this could even work for the back hitch I believe, thanks for making video it was very helpful

    Hello, you mentioned the fittings. Do you have a picture of them, or the lines? I have a cub cadet series 3000 power steering box, and I wonder if it's the same kind of lines.

    I'm referring to the motor mounts on the quiet line 1450. I was wondering how do I change them.

      Look at this if you haven't done the mounts yet. I've done several quietline mounts using this technique. The engine has to come out and if you mounts got really bad (a lot do) you'll need a new oil pan because the mounts fail, the rails tip inwards and rub on the oil pan. If there is wear on the rails, I weld them up then grind them down to flat again. It's pretty important to get that engine back in straight and level for the driveshaft angle. Unless you switch the rag joints to u joints.

    that was great explanation, did you re use the original lines that attach to the pump manifold or did you make your own?

    Uhh yes I have a 1450 also and was wondering do you still have your hydraulic lift with the power steering

    • @jamesjohnson6593
      @jamesjohnson6593  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I still have it but it's on my four wheel drive tractor

  • @jhitt79
    @jhitt79 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Was that originally a 1650?
    Looks like a "spread frame" like what would be on a 982.
    Also, is the axle and spindles stock? So the ram hooks to where the tie rod used to go?

    • @jamesjohnson6593
      @jamesjohnson6593  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes it's original 1650 yes it's a stock axle the front spindles come off of a golf cart you are correct with a hydraulic cylinder thank you for asking
