I have flare ups of RA. And before I got a diagnosis My joints were swelling so much. I was never given opiates though outside of a and e. I know a younger family friend who was normal and then got RA and the disease has progressed very quickly. He can't walk and is stuck in a wheelchair. I hope you're okay! Idk if you have RA but other autoimmune inflammatory diseases have similar symptoms like lupus and during the flare ups you can feel so exhausted. Keep going! You're a survivor

I'm so glad you got a quick diagnosis, your body was clearly screaming for help! 😟 I have Lupus and neurological conditions and I had a similar experience to yours, but I'm now applying for uni to do midwifery because we should not allow anything to stop us. Stay strong 💪
