      Thanks mate, here's a link where I got mine from. I've had 3 sets on 3 boats- excellent wheels. amzn.to/3UiWXVD

      Haha yes I thought the same when I saw you inflation/deflation video! Looks like an ideal boat for family beach days!

    Hi there! You have inspired me and I have just bought a carbon pro and tohatsu 15hp, do you bolt the engine to the transom or just use the clamps? Tia

      Love it! Thank you! I just use the clamps

    Hi mate i have the 330SL with the slatted floors. Hoping to get a new engine as i have a selva 6hp but cant find a impellar so gonna have to save up and buy another out board. Would it be worth me eventually when funds are right upgrading to this. Want to take my daughter out to sea.but dont trust the slatted floors.

      The Carbon Pro 365 feels pretty stable on the water, and the ally deck is going to be more comfortable than the slotted deck. A lot really depends on the state of sea but assuming as you're taking your daughter out, it'll be calm conditions and safe speeds, the boat does feel very safe to be on. Ideally you'd have a grab rope right around the boat but the Carbon does not have on in a comfortable position for your daughter, but the bow handles are very good if she's happy on her knees up front (would suggest some padding). Sitting up right on the bench and you may want to tie off a bit of rope for her to hold on to.
      The 4m hull is going to be more stable than the 3.65m but things get heavier and bulkier.
      As she won't be walking around fishing on deck, consider an air deck, too. You may prefer that if inflating and deflating each use.
      Overall though, you can't really go wrong with this boat. It's not perfect but it's a great boat and my daughters have been in it- mainly on their knees up front

      @TheReelIsle yeah I'm thinking of getting a order for one the 330SL is a great little boat and pulls us along nicely on the river. But I'm thinking of the 365 for are sea trips. I'll never go silly speeds with the kids on board and I've only got a 6hp at the moment looking to go for the 9.8Tohatsu if you have any experience with that ?

      The Carbon Pro and Excel Scout should both perform very similar. I think you'd be happy with either and I can't really recommend one over the other. I don't have a preference myself - I'd have either of their equal size and be very happy. The grey of Excel do look cool though. I also know the Mk3 Carbon will include changes per each of the negatives I pointed out in my first impressions video of the Mk2. I haven't seen it myself, but BW did email to confirm they made the changes (aside from removing the rear outer handles which is also fine!). I know someone with a 9.8 on their Carbon, Airborne Pirates. You'll be fine - expect about 14 or 15mph

    Hi mate cool vids, new subscriber. ...can you or have you been around the full island in this? Is there rules and regs around douglas harbour in these? Thanks

    • @TheReelIsle
      @TheReelIsle  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi mate thank you. I've been around a good chunk of the Island but I've not done a whole way round before as I usually go out and fish rather than go out to put the miles in or tour. I will likely do it this year though. The boat is very capable of doing so, that I can guarantee. With the island having its own climate, choosing the weather is important for that type of trip.
      Regs wise you need to register the boat and pay slipway fees over here. Minimal cost really.
      To exit or enter Douglas Harbour you need to phone them as you're launching, or call them on VHF12. Very friendly guys, very patient and appreciate you obeying the rules. Otherwise the island is your oyster - no more mandatory radio required. Let me know if you have more questions. Small tip, always prioritise budget to good safety gear. Expensive accessories and fishing gear is secondary

    Very informative video, I'm strongly considering this boat. Does it perform better than your Vanguard on the water?

    • @TheReelIsle
      @TheReelIsle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. Much much better than my Vanguard. Using JCBW at checkout will give you £50 off Borika mounts or seat bags. I'm unaffiliated and paid full price for my boat, but its such a good boat I wanted to grab a discount code for subscribers!

    Compared to the excel versions which are very similar in price how does the boatworld hold up? I’m going to be buying one but can’t help but think excel may be better quality?

    • @TheReelIsle
      @TheReelIsle  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey buddy. The BW Carbon Pro and the Excel Scout are almost identical boats, aside from the positioning/absence of accessories. I'm almost certain they are the same boat design using the same benches, handles, deck etc etc perhaps even assembled by the same people 😅
      Deciding between them is more about the style and fittings, warranty, price etc. They should both perform the same or very similar and they seem to be made out of the same material

      Lol thanks mate. Aye its just one more thing to do as part of setting up, and in truth I leave my oars on the outside at all times. Everyone is different though. I'm going to guess that their Mk3 comes with clips on the outside ;)

    Would this fit on a roof rack in one of those roof boxes?

    • @TheReelIsle
      @TheReelIsle  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey matey. You would have a hard time getting it in and over the lip of the box, if you had one that fit. Though I used to deflate my old airdeck boat and strap it directly on my roof bars. Doable but heavy.
      As an alternative it would fit in the back of a hatchback, or if you have a tow bar then you can get something similar to a bike carrier which you could transport it on. If you are going to inflate and deflate each time then I would suggest an air deck too.

    • @Reguez01
      @Reguez01 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheReelIsle Oh ok so you reckon it would fit in the back of a Mercedes C250 estate with the seats down? I'm so close to getting one. Can't afford to keep my warrior 175 going anymore but this looks like a great alternative with perhaps a 15hp engine. No mooring fees just keep it all in the garage!

    • @TheReelIsle
      @TheReelIsle  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it'd fit in the back of an estate! Are you going alone, or with friends most? Are you physically fit and strong? Important questions to ask yourself. Which is why I suggest air deck may be a better choice if you're inflating and deflating each time. Although plenty do with the ali deck. It's all subject to you physical ability etc

    • @Reguez01
      @Reguez01 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheReelIsle I'm hard as nails! Not heard of an airdeck though. That's an inflatable also? Yeah, would be inflating and deflating each time. I don't mind some lifting around. Not sure I want a real chore though....

    • @TheReelIsle
      @TheReelIsle  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah the air deck is basically a separate high pressure deck - usually 10psi or so, so very firm. Usually a good 15kg lighter overall too. The ali deck is fine to assemble solo, in fact look on my channel I posted an assembly video earlier today. The airdeck is easier though. But, the ali deck is better for fishing.
