Just a note: the reason I was searching this was, because my mobile hotspot wasnt shown on the available networks. I found out that the issue was, that I had 5 GHz on, which most smart tv rn dont support. You need to make sure that you habe 2.4 ghz switched on, then the TV will be able to recognize the hotspot

@@miro-q7c1p depends on what device you have. But if you open your hotspot settings there should be something like AP band and you change that. For example on my Android: Settings - hotspot and tethering - click on wifi hotspot (as if you wanted to change your hotspot password) - AP band (here I can select 2.4 or 5.0 GHz.
