My rear shock was not great on my super meteor so i tried moving the shock setting, its now just as good as my old Honda cbr 300 which is a relief, cause i love my handsome cruiser
Its a case of finding the right setting for you, great there is adjustment, i have tried it on various settings until i got the right one. Thanks for watching, ride safe 👍
The answer is...because they spent all the money on the Showa upside-down front forks 😀 I have a Super Meteor and the first thing I did was to upgrade the rear forks. Also the frame geometry is different on the Classic 350, you feel the shockwaves right up through your spine on cruisers.
@@Butlers_Bike_life I fitted YSS shocks, they were made in collaboration with Royal Enfield, cost the equivalent of about 400 GBP. Well worth it. Do you still have your Super Meteor? I have the shock's model number if you want it.
@@felixVanDiemen Thank you for the reply. Yes I also own a Super Meteor, I have a few videos of it on my channel also. The model number would be much appreciated. Are you happy with them ? Cheers
@@Butlers_Bike_life sure not a problem. I was aware that you had a Super Meteor I just wasn't sure if you still had it now. Yes I am very happy with the upgraded shocks, well worth the effort! The model number is RZ362-310TRL-08-SRU. They allow for dampening adjustment as well as pre load adjustment. There is a TH-camr that goes by the name of 'Fuzzy Biker' who has a Super Meteor and has fitted these shocks. I think you would find it quite informative. I love Royal Enfields, I own four of them, two Classic 500s (I am in the process of setting up one with a sidecar) and also a 2005 iron barrel Bullet 500 and of course the super Meteor. They are great bikes and bring me a lot of joy. Cheers
@@felixVanDiemen Many thanks for the model number and I will definitely look up 'Fuzzy Biker' They are excellent bikes, my dream of owning a Royal Enfield started when i visited watsonian sidecars here in the UK about 2005 to buy my son a moto x bike, they imported Royal Enfields and I had a guided tour of all the different processes involved to create a UK spec bike as they came direct from India and had to be modified for the UK. Is this the sidecar you have ? I wouldn't say no to a Continental GT but I have run out of garage space, probably wouldn't do my back any good but just like to when one.....Thanks for all the info....safe riding 👍😀
The back sound is very fun 😂
Familiar sound here rural Wales 😀 thanks for watching

The consensus is the rear shocks on the Shotgun are better than the SM.
I wonder if they are different or is the weight distribution different ? Interesting....thanks for the comment 👍
