@@eddiewalker7252 on the ground ther, the lots feel quite large and with lots of room from neighbors, especially as compared to the typical RV or mobile home park. Also the landscaping is beautiful. $600 includes water, sewer, trash/recycling & lots of other amenities. So it a huge savings compared to any rentals in this area. That price range is nonexistent in most of the US for rental housing. And have you seen most new neighborhoods? The houses are on top of each other. But to each their own 😁

@@baddriver3580 Are you an owner of an Incredible Tiny Home? The reason I ask is because most of the glowing reviews I've seen on ITH are from people who watch Randy's videos but don't own one of his tiny homes. Some of the actual homeowners reviews I've read are downright frightening. So unless you actually own and are currently living inside one of his tiny homes, you shouldn't be raving about the low prices and recommending them to other people. And even if you meet both of the requirements, I think it's in bad taste to be broadcasting your information on a tiny house channel that is devoting this particular episode to a gentleman named Mike who earns his living in the tiny home industry. It makes you look like you're trying to poach customers from Mike and send them to ITH. Maybe Alexis and Christian will make a video about someone who owns and lives in a ITH some day. That's up to them as to what kind of content they want to show on their channel.

This is all amazing. What I love more is that he thought about his son and is building him his own tiny home. That's gonna be awesome and very good for him financially speaking as an adult.
What a great asset for their community. I could watch this one a 100 times. Love his voice, and great hair! I loved the openness, shapes, and layout in this tiny house. I'd opt for different colors but agree with all his design perspectives and thoughtful design and construction details. Cat is adorable.
I love your remarks, I agree. I will be watching this again and again to absorb the knowledge about building! As a cat person, I love his design for the cat nook for food and water and the outdoor access. I think it would be safe enough to let a cat out in a community like Acony Bell, but I would worry anyway. Speaking of cats, I have never seen the litter box storage site in a tiny home. Perhaps Mike's kitty goes outside, but many cats must have an indoor place. Has anyone seen that addressed? I would love to hear about your ideas or experience about that critical feature, or if in a video, please let me know which one😉😂! Thanks everyone!

Excellent. Love the bathroom-and your cat's startled, almost puzzled look. ["Hey Mike-why are these people here?"] I'm sure you placed the stove facing any living room guests. I still think I would've flipped the placement with the opposite cabinet. I would have spaced the open shelving a bit more symmetrical around the sink. Great use of windows and blinds. Excellent job on making ventilation work with less electric use! I can't wait to see your build when you bring the bedroom to the 1st floor. I'm sure your passion for excellence will serve you well. Ps: Your son isn't lucky-he's blessed to have you as his dad. Probably a reflection on how your dad raised you. Thank you

Mike seems to take each buid personal and with deep pride. A beautiful home and bath. My only touch I would do is make a catwalk instead of the little shelf. The storage is great.

Thanks for having Mike on. I love what he brought up about some building pluses and errors. Most just show their tiny homes (which I enjoy the looks, and ideas, clever storage and experiences) but Mike elevated this tour to educate as well. I would go to him for my tiny home!

The spacious indoor/outdoor feel of his tiny home is fantastic! There are so many ideas he has that are great. Would have liked to have seen his son's room also. (It just needed a few boxes to put all the extras into and hide to show it off, right?! Lol)

I watched this a year ago when it was posted then. Now, watching it a year and dozens of tiny home videos later, I appreciate it even more. Little tidbits such as condensation under a metal roof, @ 18:10, are invaluable pieces of information for ANY sized building! Thanks Mike for putting this out there! (Do you deliver to Canada?) ;)

I really like the size of the bathroom, which is nothing extremely important to me, but the fact is, when more than one person shares a home, it really does make for a more comfortable life!
Look forward to seeing the bedroom on the first floor.
Could not agree more with doing it right the first time, and I love the idea of the electrical in the wall so you can come and go as you please without having to worry in case you’re dealing with traveling or you’re using your tiny house as an Airbnb. Just one less thing to worry about.

I can’t imagine you having any difficulty getting business, and it sounds nice that you’ll be able to work on custom building… I have lived in one of the most dysfunctional homes. Thanks to the last owner of my standard home… Would actually make a great comedy series. All the things that have “happened“. Right now, I’m looking at the fan that fell out of the wall, the three bears in the bathroom that broke because the hinges were too small and too heavy, so literally fell off of the cabinet… Not to mention the plumbing… I think I have a cold water that is working at the moment… Yep… Doing it right the first time means everything to me!

Okay - I have seen a gazillion tiny house videos, but that drawer under the dining/work top (whatever) in front of the pass-through window is an amazing slim storage space. However, your pantry storage areas (i.e. bottom cupboard and stairs) leave stuff at the back inaccessible. (Bottom cupboard - slide out shelves; Stair storage - front-pull out drawers or a re-design) I agree with you about the Lazy Susan and your use of the space if perfect, now that I have seen the bathroom, which is perfect: clean the body, clean the clothes, and store the clean clothes, all in the same space. I think all closets should be in or near the bathroom. (Logical) I am quite sure you will build your perfect tiny home!

I like the idea of this. I wonder if there are any tiny house co-op communities where each individual on the property has more rights and a say how the community operates. The idea of just planting my home on someones private lot that I pay rent to could be problematic, additionally a co-op board would allow you to make organized decisions about the neighborhood, such as possibly stopping it from becoming basically a place to park AirBnBs.
