    I love everything about your home including where you decided to place the water supply for the cat and yourselves! Having the litter box in the closet where your clothes are located is perfect, you know why? Because it's your house and you should live in it how you choose, not how a bunch of judgemental people on the internet think you should, because of course everything in their houses are just perfect! Keep living your lives and I wish you guys nothing but the best!

    You are a lovely couple and your home reflects that. I see the Bag End touches: the light green/grey in the decor (even the plates), the beautiful wood stairs, ceiling, the green sink. It has very cozy and calm vibes. But I like how the Middle Earth inspiration is not overboard. The bathroom is very well done, very useful. The closet is spacious. I love how you have a little shed and trailer to store some stuff, it completes your set up nicely. And of course, because you met over a book club, you have a bookcase!! It is 3 levels deep but so many book lovers do that too, LOL!

He prescribed Adderall but I happened to get migraines the two times I tried it. Both times during my 4 PM client's session. I decided to try coffee and it really helped!

I also pull it out to clean so there’s no cross contamination with clothing or smell. We test our water regularly out of an abundance of caution. It’s all been working out for us! Thank you for the well wishes, hopefully we can settle onto our land in the near future!

      Oh we tried under the stairs, our preferred box just barely didn’t fit! It’s actually perfect for us-right by the vacuum for easy cleaning of loose litter, whereas up in a loft would be less convenient to clean as frequently as I like to. I also realllly don’t want loose litter in our bed! I have a very sensitive nose and I was worried about litter smelling clothes, but they don’t, hooray! I would have mounted a mirror on the pocket door to the bathroom. No need to store it or have the hassle of propping it up on a step stool and when you have the door closed it helps to still make the house feel open, spacious, and bright.

That can't be good because uopn flushing, bacteria particles get air bound and land on nearby surfaces ( look it up, it's a thing), and that includes all over that spout! Makes sense! Our loft floor is slatted, so there is a bit more ventilation. It’s about time for a new mattress anyway, so we’ll see how it looks soon! During the winter we do have to wipe down windowsills often, as there is moisture buildup that can lead to mold there for sure.

    As with all tiny houses, storage is an issue. You can only downsize so much. 8' x 24' is too small. They had to build a storge shed, storage areas on the house and a trailer for storage. 8' wide is the length of a sheet of plywood, so the footprint is 3 sheets of plywood wide. Go stand on 3 sheets of plywoods butted up against each other and then subtract wall thickness. You're down to 7.25 ft. width. So to get more living space you have to go taller. This doesn't look fun at all. Why not go 12 wide, you could have more area for storage inside. But most tiny houses still require more outdoor space and storage bldgs.

      After 2 years living in it, I can say we’re very happy and comfortable! Having been in a 2000+ square foot home, we prefer this. Most houses have garages, attics, etc so I feel a small shed and trailer (that’s mainly used as a camper anyway) is comparable.

    I wouldn't want my clothes right above a litter box!! I would feel like a walking litter box due to the smell that would get onto the clothes. 😝

      You’re not alone, there are many strangers so thoughtfully concerned about my clothes! The short answer is: rest assured they don’t smell 😂

    Nice home. You know you can actually make your loft with standing room so the ceiling is not Simon your face. You’ll have to have someone move it for you but at lest you would have to worry about getting a concussion when you tried to sit up Just a thought.

    Drinking water in the bathroom????

    • @tessapackyoga9527
      @tessapackyoga9527 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We didn’t want to compromise our bougie 5 gallon freshwater jugs, and it fits perfectly there! Having 10 gallons of fresh water has also come in handy in times of unfortunate outages. Luckily it’s a *tiny house*, so the bathroom is only a few steps from drinking glasses in the kitchen! 😉

    Hi Alexis and Christian, Another wonderful tiny home video, with a couple who communicated really effectively about their tiny house story. Really lovely. Just want to mention one thing that would improve presentation. There seems to be a tendency in speaking to raise one's tone at the end of a sentence. I find it a bit annoying. Would be so much nicer if people could be made aware of this and try to refrain from doing it. Hope this is helpful, as that is the intention. 🌺🌺🌺 American Grace living in India

    I'm sorry but having your cat's water next to/under your toilet bowl is disgusting. Would you want to see that and drink from it?

    • @tessapackyoga9527
      @tessapackyoga9527 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Surprisingly the bathroom is one of her favorite places, regardless of anything happening in there humans might find disgusting! We’re very mindful of any cross contamination and making sure it’s safe and clean. Sadie appreciates your concern though! 🐈

      @mperales00 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree, cat water next to the toilet just seems wrong. I get they say their mindful to have no cross contamination but come on let's be real, she can't possibly say for sure or him that when he zips up never not a drop has landed in that water!! And the the cat doesn't have a say the owners make that choice for them so I hope they at least tried other spots before they settled next to the toliet. And hey they drink water next to the toilet so 🤷

      I can tell you’ve been thinking through all the possible scenarios and worrying quite a lot about our water choices! That seems like it must be quite stressful. Rest assured Sadie is a very happy and healthy 13 year old girl who makes her preferences known and is well taken care of!

    They store the drinking water by the toilet and the cat toilet with their clean clothes. Not the best solutions for sanitation and health.

      I absolutely haaaaate stepping on litter out of the shower, just a huge pet peeve of mine! It’s nice and contained in the closet where the vacuum also lives, so it’s easy to remove instantly. There is no cross contamination between my clothes and the (covered) litterbox, which gets pulled out and cleaned multiple times per day so there is no smell! We test our water for safety and the teeny tiny spigot is cleaned regularly. I hope that quells all your concerns, and you can rest assured we are safe and in good health 😊

      She has never had any interest in going outside in her 13 years of life! She’s a happy, healthy, spoiled and well-loved girl 😊 Our cat who passed away in July did enjoy the outdoors, so we’d take him out on a harness for safety.

    Honestly? You need to know yourselves and each other, and what you actually want, before getting married. This poor couple has wasted how many hundreds of thousands of dollars in a few short years, because they "went from 0 to 60" in a short space of time like that??? I mean, really, people, don't do that. Even if two people do belong together (which is usually not the case to begin with), going that fast just means you're going to pay for it later.

    • @tessapackyoga9527

      I wish we had hundreds of thousands of dollars to waste, but that unfortunately has never been the case! 😆 Our spending has been muuuuuuuch less than that. I wouldn’t change a thing about our journey, it’s been wonderful, and we have so much more to experience together! 🥰
