Turbo Mini hood vents and weight reduction

Cutting weight out of the R56 Cooper S is always something I’m interested in. I also wanted a way to reduce engine bay heat. Less heat equals more power and avoiding heat soak means I keep more power for longer. I cut as much out of the hood as possible while still keeping some rigidity. The ‪@RYOBITOOLSUSA‬ angle grinder was as reliable as ever. All of my ‪@harborfreight‬ tools made the the job so much easier. The drill and drill bits from ‪@dewalttv‬ were amazing. Thanks to ‪@maverikadventure‬ for my weird intro and the slushie helped keep me cool on these 100+ days.
