I swear each time I come back to this channel, somehow, the video quality gets even better than I thought possible. Keep up the good work Jon and Caleb!
Dude your production quality is just absolutely unmatched in the YT fishing space. Definitely the reason I'm subbed to this channel and no other fishing channels
I am one of the few mountain trail setters that still follows game trails and creek beds into the unexplored Rockies of the West. The one species I can always find no matter how high and isolated the lake is freaking yellow perch. There is a high mountain lake between Brighton and Alta ski resorts that is frozen over 9 months out of the year but when you pack in there are no trout, just suckers and perch. But I am a super lightweight tackle guy and love finding the bends in unknown creeks that nobody has ever fished and catch dinner. You would be amazed what you will catch in the smallest pools.
this is like movie quality production. it’s so impressive to see what mastering your craft looks like. the dedication that jon has is unreal. love to see it!
I remember my daughter enjoyed small fishing we found this lil creek with blue gills and bass it was fun cause it only took a minute each cast before we hook one it made my daughter excited everytime she caught one
Dude, the quality of this is straight fishing documentary. Which, you have made before. But DAMN! I think I speak for everyone when I say this is the most visually appealing fishing channel. Killing it, bro!
❤, Thank you Jon, you yet again made my night and made me bring some very deep and very heart felt memories i had with my father fishing small creeks for speckles too. It was some of my very fondest memories growing up as a fisherman. I loved those time and look back now and i charish them even deeper now. My dads stuck to a wheel chair now and needs constint care now so hes unable to fish anymore. The reason why i now charish the times i had with so much more now. If its not for him im not sure i would have learned to love this hobby, sport and great n wonderful thing nature gave us to go out and explore such amazing small creeks like you are doing in this video. So with a very heart felt smile and tear in my eye i say thank you Jon, this was a very wonderful video to watch and to remember such lovelly memories i had and hope you give to your children too. Thank you & much love for what you do and for what you give us. ❤️👍👏
I love when you do derby/tournament videos you should do a few tournament videos while your up here in Maine. Maybe hit some tourneys with Tyler and Connor some this year I’ll hopefully see you out there! Keep up the amazing videos man love watching them and the insane EDITING🔥🔥!
As someone who’s lived in Maine for the last 11 years, watching another sportsman come to the state and absolutely fall in love with it like I did is so awesome to see
I do this in the Roanoke area blue ridge mountains all the time. You would be amazed at the amount of bigger fish in micro waterways… 1-1/2 lb smallies… Slab rock bass Roanoke bass Then catch a native trout in the next bend.. It’s something I have done since I was a kid on bike Jon. The small creeks and streams of the north eastern Ohio.
It's been a few months since I watched one of your videos and the cinematography and editing has really stepped up a notch, as well as your subscriber numbers. Good on ya, Jon B! It's like coming back to see an old friend.
Hey Jon a bender up to the Allagash would be great. About a 4 hour drive from bangor but it is loaded with brookies, and some waters even have musky and togue… You should look into it.
You should do a 2 day video in Baxter state park at a place called “horse race pond”. Hike in and hike out, it’s a remote, trout filled pond hidden in the mountains off the golden road. I’ve spent weeks up there and survived off of fresh trout and the basics. I can easily give you some more info on it. Love your videos man, keep fishing, never stop!
Love your enthusiasm for fishing! You really love to get out there and fish no matter where it is. Your channel is by far one of the best on TH-cam Keep it up. Tight lines.
The new intro 👀 … fire 🔥 and I just have to say that the seemingly small attention to detail of the b-roll cuts being a smile of satisfaction to my face because Jon and his team take the time to film all of these few second clips … cinematic masterpieces
So crazy you moved to maine. I remember watching your older videos and commenting. Trying to get you to come fish here. And here you are! I hope I bump into you one day. Be cool to catch up
also i noticed Caleb using a magnifying wide lens. New camera? I like how it compliments you guys and enhances the ceramic views (like in that loggin area) Good show !!
Jon, you have to fly fish the backyard pond at Camp Claw! On a side note, I tie flies and more recently I have been getting into some articulated streamers. They work well for fish in Colorado but I'm sure they would kick in Maine. Hit me up if you are interested!
Man’s literally following you in flip flops. John you better either get him some shoes or takes yours off and go bare foot next time. Man making you look like a his little boy he’s showing fishing spots too. 😂😂❤❤😂😂 10:16
Jon, I love watching your videos. You put in so much work and you always find different ways to better yourself. Mad respect, my dude. Keep slaying out there! 😎🎣
Hey Jon since you’ve been getting into fly fishing, copper harbor upper peninsula Michigan has some of the most beautiful splake I’ve ever seen September - November
I’m from Maine, there’s some good places to fish in the Sunkhaze Meadows wildlife refuge right around Milford then across the Penobscot river you can fish at 2 places in the Stillwater river right by Gillman Falls which is some more good fishing
Love these guerilla-style excursions. What we used to do and might be fun filming was float down a river with a rod, small tackle box and lunch, fishing all the way. We only had inner tubes, but there are surely more comfortable ways of doing it ; )
I swear each time I come back to this channel, somehow, the video quality gets even better than I thought possible. Keep up the good work Jon and Caleb!
