saw these folks in January 1975 at the Capitol Center in Maryland. It was amazing. Everyone one of the guys traded instruments for each song until they had all had a feature solo on each instrument. Wow!!!
I grew up listening to the 60s, 70s, and 80s music. Nothing compares to those eras these days. Buck Dharma was both underrated as a guitarist and songwriter.
I fell in love with them in 1977 when my now Ole hubby introduced me to their music! He had every album they made! We would go see them whenever they played in NY and their laser show was outrageous! Ahh, the last days of May! 😊
Still love these guys. They were my daughter first concert she was about 4. It was an open air. We were near the frount, Daddy had on his boc godzill shirts and our little girl was dancing her tiny butt off so much people have her space and smiled. They guys loved it and thanked us from the stage for bringing her. Said they loved it. When she was acting out the song Godzilla while dancing. They had such huge smiles.
Home in the valley Home in the city Home isn't pretty Ain't no home for me Home in the darkness Home on the highway Home isn't my way Home will never be Burn out the day Burn out the night I can't see no reason to put up a fight I'm living for giving the devil his due And I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you Time is the essence Time is the season Time ain't no reason Got no time to slow Time everlasting Time to play b-sides Time ain't on my side Time I'll never know Burn out the day Burn out the night I'm not the one to tell you what's wrong or what's right I've seen suns that were freezing and lives that were through Well I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you Burn out the day Burn out the night I can't see no reason to put up a fight I'm living for giving the devil his due And I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
Remember when their LP came out in 76, drove to the local record store “Tower Records”to get it-listened for hours over and over with my headphones on…ahhh the good old days, most prolific decades of music ever. Nothing comes close to what we experienced in the 60-70s!!!⚡️⚡️⚡️
seriously, considering they've been around since 1967,they're one of the best sounding band out there right now. It's insane considering some bands who've been around for a shorter time, stopped sounding great live a while back. But these dudes are still a delight to experience live, that's rare!
I 1st saw them in July 1968 as Soft White Underbelly when I was a little over 11. My older cousin Mike brought me to see them. I have spoken to Buck a few times over the decades. He is a sweetheart and a gentleman.
LOL😂 !!! MY 67 YR. OLD HUBBY STILL HAS ALL THEIR 8 TRACK TAPES, AND WE DO HAVE EVERY VINYL RECORD THEY MADE! WHERE HAVE THE YEARS GONE?! GREAT MEMORIES😊
Saw these guys at the Joe in Detroit in 1980. Black and Blue concert. They opened for Black Sabbath. They had like a 50 foot Godzilla pop out of the wings during the song. Amazing band.
Wow, loving the new BOC DVDs and CDs on the way, long overdue for this seriously underrated band. If you've never seen them live, you're missing out on one of the most solid rock bands out there.
Buck has been in my top 10 rock guitarist of all time since 1973. watch this video & you will know why.saw BÖC in spring '75 (on your feet or you knees tour) I still have the unused bumper sticker they dropped from the ceiling).brownsville station & foghat (Nick Jameson on bass) opened the show.all three bands kicked ass. Cumberland County Arena Fayetteville, NC. Ft Bragg soldiers were cheering like banshees. Buck's Boogie was amazing. Buck was dressed in a solid white suite (secret treaties) the hall of shame should be shut down until these 3 bands are inducted
The song that got me into BOC back in 1983. My mate said 'have a listen to this' as we travelled to West Wales, UK by car and must have played it 15-20 times on the way.
Loved these guys since I was 10 years old in 1980 and now at 50 I'm finally gonna see them live for the first time in a few weeks. Came here to see what I'm in store for. Now I'm psyched!
Burning For You Is A Great Straight Up Killer Rock Song By Blue Oyster Cult And Totally Rocks It Needs To Be Fully Cranked Up All The Way To Full Maximum Volume.
One of the best bands of all time
You’re not wrong
@@gregfowler9835 Almost wright... THE ! best band of all time.
I agree. Badly underatted.
Yes. I love their songs and I'd like that they become more famous.
Agreed, better than most of today's music,if you can call it music.
The mix is perfect. The bass, guitar, drums and voice are somehow all perfectly audible and it’s not some overproduced pre-recorded crap. Kudos !
Richie probably did the mix…
Classic Richie! @@andrewkarp5067
Don Roeser aka Buck Dharma is a rock treasure. His riffs and songs will live forever!
Attempting to see all the remaining 70s bands before they fade out. Caught BOC in 2023. Awesome!
I saw them at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, summer of 76. Still sound amazing.

This is one Cult I would be willing to join!
Count me in
The singer sounds great and he can still shred
It's the great Buck Dharma.
Having heard this song for the first time the other day, it has solidified that I was born in the wrong decade.
Welcome time traveler! We’ve been waiting for you.
I envy you, the first time you hear a song this brilliant is amazing
Blue Oyster Cult is one of those bands that I didn't really appreciate in their heyday/prime, but now I realize how cool they were/are. Cool song!
ok, ok..now we know.

saw these folks in January 1975 at the Capitol Center in Maryland. It was amazing. Everyone one of the guys traded instruments for each song until they had all had a feature solo on each instrument. Wow!!!
Ahhh i wish i was alive round that time, i live close to Capitol Center :)
4 guitars & a bass in may '75
Agents of fortune tour with the laser show was the best concert I ever saw. Burned in my mind forever.
I f only I was still young…… 16 yrs old and worshiped this band. Bald now 😜
This song has been stuck in my head for about a few days! The way it should be.😌
such a great song. i love it.
I grew up listening to the 60s, 70s, and 80s music. Nothing compares to those eras these days. Buck Dharma was both underrated as a guitarist and songwriter.

Home in the valley
Home in the city
Home isn't pretty
Ain't no home for me
Home in the darkness
Home on the highway
Home isn't my way
Home will never be
Burn out the day
Burn out the night
I can't see no reason to put up a fight
I'm living for giving the devil his due
And I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
Time is the essence
Time is the season
Time ain't no reason
Got no time to slow
Time everlasting
Time to play b-sides
Time ain't on my side
Time I'll never know
Burn out the day
Burn out the night
I'm not the one to tell you what's wrong or what's right
I've seen suns that were freezing and lives that were through
Well I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
Burn out the day
Burn out the night
I can't see no reason to put up a fight
I'm living for giving the devil his due
And I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you

Makes me laugh how all the "old" people today talk about how good the 80s were? Blleccchhhhh 🤯🤯🤯
And Kasim Sulton on bass and backing vox. That guy's a national music treasure
And an absolutely awesome bass tone to boot!
For sure. Solid in Utopia too.
I said to myself is that Kasim on bass? I came here to check out the comments to see if that was him! Love his voice and his bass playing!
Wow, skills and even voice aging like fine wine !
Seen them in concert during the 70’s very powerful
That solo is fire.
"If you are prone to seizures do not watch this video!!" ~with that said. Great Band!! \m/
Yeah, somebody needs punched.
You actually comforted me a little bit telling this, I felt like I went through something during the solo.
Whoever edited the clip has the mistaken notion that you need to zoom and/or cut once a second to command people's attention. Cripes.
Or if your prone to ridiculous drummers don't watch it either. This fucking guy needs to do something else.
Under the radar, the way they’ve always wanted it
So… why isn’t BOC in the R&R HOF??
seriously, considering they've been around since 1967,they're one of the best sounding band out there right now. It's insane considering some bands who've been around for a shorter time, stopped sounding great live a while back. But these dudes are still a delight to experience live, that's rare!

Beautiful guitar tone and wicked playing.
This song is the power of three guitars in one show! Amazing!
Listened to this song on my 8 track player in my Mazda 808.
LOL😂 !!! MY 67 YR. OLD HUBBY STILL HAS ALL THEIR 8 TRACK TAPES, AND WE DO HAVE EVERY VINYL RECORD THEY MADE! WHERE HAVE THE YEARS GONE?! GREAT MEMORIES😊
They dont even make audio equipment that can play this loud enough!!!
Yes, they do, I have some....lol.
Another stand out track from B.O.C.! I love the dual guitarwork.
Whomever did the editing....my eyeballs are BURNING FROM YOU
Don't take drugs and watch this. Frame killing bastard filmed it.
Another good good song jg
nice theres the old blue oyster cult i was obcessed with all thru the early 70s, nice guitar work buck
I am blessed to grow up with such great memories and music.
One of my all time favourite tunes! Super talented band!
Drums are killer!
I saw them in Binghamton NY in the mid to late 70's. My first concert, so I was blow away.
The longest touring band of all time.
Always loved lead players who didn’t sound like anyone else hence Buck Dharma being one if not my favorite guitar slingers.
That bass tone got me goosebumpin
Great punchy live sound.
Sounds amazing. I’m hope they never get tired of playing this gem.
Saw these guys at the Joe in Detroit in 1980. Black and Blue concert. They opened for Black Sabbath. They had like a 50 foot Godzilla pop out of the wings during the song. Amazing band.
Les grands reviennent très en forme!
Good Lord Buck is an all time great
One of the first 3 or so albums I ever bought as a kid was On Your Feet or on Your Knees. Probably around 76 or so.
Wow, loving the new BOC DVDs and CDs on the way, long overdue for this seriously underrated band. If you've never seen them live, you're missing out on one of the most solid rock bands out there.
AMEN
Love this band. They aound great!!
So powerful. He is shredding up that guitar solo. Interesting melodic vocal variations.
Ive noticed with some of these old bands where they loose in vocals they have gained skill with their instruments.
Don, what a connsument performer. That cat never plays the same song the same way twice. RÖCK ON !
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!❤
One of the best, from one of the greatest 🤟🏼🤟🏼
Some guitarists get a little rusty with age but not Buck! He is just as sharp and clean sounding as he has always been, if not better!
You know right away when the guitar starts what song it is.
THANK,S,,God..and, JESUS.....
Sorry dear. They’re Jewish.
love this band
Takes me back
Kudos for you guys❗. Keep up performing and don't fear the reaper 🙂
Caught these dudes in 2016 with Bad Company GREAT show
BÖC forever!!!
Rockin' till they pop. Real as it gets.
Greatly written and composed song
One my favorite bass lines in a rock and roll song
