    Food is essential energy source for the body and mind..most of the times when we eat these days we are not actually hungry or we are not aware...Food is root cause for most of deseases in the world today. Satvic food is one such where one can be healthy , active through out the day...thanks you so much for this information for every ones well being...

    In Ayurveda Yogic Diet is the best source of nutrition and cleansing at the same time. It is a Detox in itself. Body cells functions best with all Veg - Yogic diet. If one can't practice 100% yogic diet, try periodic repeat after every month for a month for starters & for best results !

    Thanks, have been trying to eat healthy for a while now. My habits have got more cleaner, it’s just my ethnicity is based on meat and fry. So for now I get takeout from my local Indian, now I try to get dishes with less meat.

    Any tips for sitting in that cross legged asana? I've been trying for over a year now with not much success, my hips just don't seem to rotate and I get inner knee pain (I've been vegetarian for over a year now so my diet shouldn't be an issue). Any tips are much appreciated!

      Hey try to fold one leg at a time. Folding both leg will give you much pain. We Indians have a habit of sitting crossed legged position from childhood itself. But yes if you are very heighted or too obese you will find it more difficult to sit in crossed legged position. So if this is the case then I would recommend to not hurt your knee and practice what you have been practicing since years. Better to be cautious then too permanently damage your knees.
