Great demo again Jim, amazing how special this synthesizer sounds. So silky smooth and warm, but at the same time it can sound aggressive and epic. The combination of your playing and operating a synth is something you don't often see, so it's great to have you here! I own a Muse which is close to the One in some cases, maybe a little rawer and less silky, but also a very inspiring synth to work with. I will definitely try to recreate some of your great patches. Thanks again and all the best!
Hey many thanks for the feedback - appreciated! Interesting to hear your thoughts comparing the Muse I agree it's inspiring and packs a lot of punch. I'm pleased to inspire you to make new patches - that's why I make these videos! It's great to try new ideas with any synth; new ways of approaching sound creation etc that really get the imagination going. So many possibilities, so little time...
Finally someone is making soundscapes on this thing. When this came out all I heard was organ sounds and tasteful keys, this synth is a monster and it deserves to go to into some weird space!
12:44 😮 completely took the soul out of my body and transported me onto the surface of Mars. Truly hypnotising. This is an excellent example of what the unique architecture of this synth can do. When you understand the potential there is really no way to compare it to any other analog synth on the market. This is in a class of its own.
My wive got me the Presets for Christmas and there are so many brilliant patches in the pack, I can highly recommend bying these. It will make you fall in love with the moog one again and again, I am glad I didn´t sell it after struggeling with it for the first years, because now it just makes sense, thanks to these epic sound designs! ✨✨✨♥♥♥🔥🔥🔥
I just bought my Moog One back in February and love buying amazing custom sounds. Please take my money!!!!!!!!!!! Insant subscribe. I've bought sounds from a few people from TH-cam. Yours are by far the best sounding. I can't wait until you make these available! Christmas/Birthday will be a lot cheaper this year lol. As I paid for my Moog One and Matriarch on the same same day, but waited two months before they arrived.
Hey thanks so much for your feedback and your interest in the sounds! The One and Matriarch together sound like a powerful combination. My sound banks should be ready before Christmas
@@synthuniverse HI Jim, I'm not seeing the link. The only thing I see is your email address as contact info. But I can email you to get a direct link, if that is ok.
Very Impressing patches. Because of your video or demo it has opened me eyes what I have bought 2 years ago. That is an Art you are an Artis. I appreciated even more this Sound Engineering Tool (I think it is properly to call it). Above it, I have share to my Mom your video to show what kind of people are in this world. And how hard they are working to achieve new sound. Hats off to all of You, who has been working in this way. Best regards Michal
Awesome…got myself a One recently and admittedly I’m a bit overwhelmed…love to see more sound and tutorials videos on how to program this beast. Loved this video and subscribed!
Many thanks for the feedback and for subscribing! I understand the feeling of overwhelm but it will pass. If I get a chance I'll look at putting tutorials together. In the meantime I would advise beginning with just one of the synths and turn the Synth and Master FX off. Get to know the raw timbre of the oscillators in different waveform combinations. Also play with the filters in different combinations - and as I stated in the video, use the filters in serial, put filter mix to 100% ladder then adjust the State variable filter frequency and you will get a bigger warmer sound if you want the traditional analog mojo. The Gearspace Moog One owners forum is very helpful there are some very knowledgeable folks there. Have fun - and my sound banks should be out before Xmas...
The video reaffirms my decision to buy one of these a few months ago knowing they are discontinued. An amazing instrument played by an amazing sound designer and player. Thanks!! As others have stated below it would be an amazing if someone did a tutorial on basic sound design on this synth!!

Just get a groove synthesis 3rd wave. It's basically serum with moog one specs in a box that have prophet and sem filters, with 24 voices and 4 part multi timbral. This instrument is extinct for a reason. The moog muse can do model d sounds, this can't, it has no mixer overdrive. All these pads can be done with 3rd wave and a moogerfooger mf101 ladder pedal. Gain staging on the 3rd wave is better too. This instrument has literally nothing that the muse or the 3rd wave doesn't have, and the fx are outclassed by meris X pedals.
Thanks for expressing your opinion, but I think you missed the point entirely in relation to this video. I'm not the least bit interested in what one synth can do and what another cannot. When it comes to making music that has no relevance at all. What is useful is finding the personality of any particular synth and getting the best out of it for whatever musical context it's in. No synth can do everything.
@@synthuniverseand … whatever other synths can’t and can… that doesn’t make the One a lesser synth. The Moog One is exceptional for many reasons. It’s probably discontinued for profit reasons. Cause how expensive it might seem, I don’t think they made a lot of profit on this one. Count yourself lucky to own this beauty! :D

Many thanks for sharing - agreed - so many possibilities...
That is one of the best demo's I've seen on moog one. Excellent programming and meaningful sounds. Great playing! Thanks 👍
Many thanks for your feedback - appreciated! I just uploaded Part 2 as well...
Thank you, Synth Universe! I dig your style.

Awesome! I really sounds different than the muse, the complement eachother well. This one is more refined and subtile.
Many thanks for your feedback and perspective! Yes it seems they are quite different beasts
🎉Glad to know their Flagship is still available.. and that you’re working on a tutorial !! 🎄
Thanks for sharing! If I can find the time I will work on a tutorial...
