Just got the Deluxe last week and I must say it sounds stunning! I even got rid of my Prophet 10 to purchase it as I feel there is way more potential in the Hydrasynth for sound design. Your playing and sounds are extremely inspiring. Thanks for putting a smile on my face!👍
Many thanks for sharing and for your feedback! I'm happy you find the Deluxe and the sounds inspiring. As owner of both, I agree that while the Prophet 10 is a wonderful-sounding classic synth, the Hydrasynth is a different kind of beast and has far more potential in terms of sound design.
@@jackcimino8822 Not saying the Prophet 10 is bad, on the contray, it is a stunning piece of hardware but when moneys tight you have to go with what you get the most mileage out of.👍

Thanks for sharing! It's an incredibly capable synth and hopefully you'll enjoy it. I own and have owned many synths, but have to say that I use the Hydrasynth for music-making than any other.
I just ordered my Hydrasynth Deluxe and I am looking for all the typical Vox Humana / Gary Numan sounds from Replicas, Pleasure Principle, Telekon and his Live Living Ornaments 79,80 and 81 concerts. Is "Sync Saws" the closest I am going to get to that sound with your patches?
Great that you're getting a Deluxe! If you email me at synthuverse@gmail.com with TH-cam links to specific points on those Numan albums where the sounds you're interested in are playing, then I'll be able to answer your question
Incredible sounds. One of the best examples of this synth I have heard.

How blasphemous of you to do that. The Prophet 10 is one of the best-sounding synths ever!

You made all of these sounds only using your hydra?
Yes - no other external FX or tricks used. It's a very capable synth!
