Agreed cant understand why they downgraded it so much. I always look for reasons to buy pcars 2 (have pcars) but dont see enough of an improvement to justify it
Bought Project Cars 1 because been on a racing kick and hearing the games are being delisted, thought why not. Game is a ton of fun and love how you can start a career as low as humanly possible with cart racing. Gonna have to get 2 next payday. Got plenty of time before it goes too
@@teoborovac3355 Yub, graphically it might at first glance not look as pretty, but when it comes to driving it beats the crap out of Pcars 1. As I said graphically at first glance, just look at a track when it has rained in and you start to get puddles. Hell we had a race in 1960's LM Cars on Roue les Essarts in a Thunderstorm...that looked great and oh god was it a challenge to keep those cars on the track and out of the catchfences......

And while the track surface might look more boring at the start of a session, it really looks good after while. With lots of detail and more importantly the information you need, like puddles, tire Marks, rubberred in racing line, or drying line, dort and marbles.
Rain effects in pc1 is so much better than pc2..pc2 is so over the top...even when it stops raining in 2, the water trails still is still the same. Pc1 the water trails starts to decrease..
Shortsighted this is, only at the graphics you are looking. ;) Not at the physics, and the driving you are looking. Forgetting you are, that impossible to get right, exposure was. ;)
why dont you compare the game!? what do people do with pixel fetish. tell what the gameplay difference are, features, something useful to people watching.
Not really a direct comparison, you should mention it’s a graphic comparison, doesn’t cover much of gameplay mention of the tuning bullshit how there’s no help in the first project cars(which is why I really dislike playing it) overall you did cover the graphic comparison but I think people would like to know if it’s so technical tuning a car to just drive and get those fast laps
I keep hearing people mention the not-so-great anti-aliasing in "PC2", but can't you just add more through your GPU's settings?... I mean, that's what a PC is about... So unless the game doesn't allow it for some reason, just force it.

Project cars 1 has good graphics and incredible sounds. Maybe not the most realistic sounds but they are so exciting!! Project cars 2 has enjoyable driving phisics, and a bit more content. I hope project cars 4 will take the best parts of each game and improve them
I own all of the 3 games and pCARS 2 destroy alone both of them already in the realism part, details and everything else pCARS 2 wins beside graphics of course. DC is pure crap, way better on PS5
En lo personal, cuando compre el G27, ya jugaba pcars 1.. y era una delicia manejarlo... mas de 800hs facil, el 2... destrozaron el juego en todos los aspectos. se hizo muchisimo mas Arcade y graficamente no me gusto tampoco. Me volve de lleno al AC y hasta el dia de hoy sigo jugando el pcars 1.. pero el 2 y el 3... no pude jugar ni 4hs... Nose que paso con el desarrollo.. quize se hizo muy consolero.. Saludos.

Yes, it is a bit exaggerated, but it helps determine braking distance IMHO. Good eye!

played both and definitely PC1 has better visual quality compared to PC2
