In this video I decided to actually use my Gold Class Benchmade since I'm sure not a lot of people who buy one do. The test weren't anything crazy just some average day to day task one may do with the knife. Each time I test a certain knife it is geared towards what I think the knife should be able to do. Let me know what you think about the video and if what you want to see next out of the knives I've unboxed recently.

It had me interested as well and even though I new that if it was actual damasteel it should do good especially with a good heat treat 👌🏻

Love the knife and I love when you do cut tests with the knife. Also, I had mentioned something about the volume and I don’t know what you did different this go around, but I could hear everything perfectly loud and clear. The only reason I bring it up is that I use a kind of old iPad that I’ve had for years and the speakers aren’t the greatest lol

My girlfriend bought me this knife for Father’s Day this year and I absolutely love it. It’s definitely not a hard user, but it is a fantastic conversation piece and a stellar accessory for more a upscale occasion. I’ve gotten two of my friends into knives just based on this knife alone. That Raffir Uranium backspacer really impresses people with its two color glow. You said you took it apart? How easy was it to take apart and reassemble?

Great fearless video, best review I have seenI just bought one today, my only criticism is why the shield ? I would of preferred the Butterfly logo. I never buy a knife unless it's going to be used. Here in Australia it cost $740.00 AUD. I've been a sub for a while, in Glen from Goulburn NSW Australia. Cheers Mate

I think it's beautiful and I agree, it u want a perfectly comfortable knife that's easy to cut through heavy shit,,,,buy a knife that's designed for that.

Wish this was a front flipper. It would give you more handle and you could get closer to the cutting edge. PLus I think I think it's better looking without the flipper tab.

P.S not a fan of pocket clips myself. I usually take of the pocket clip. And buy extra titanium screws. To make a " Spider Eye" look on both sides
I don’t know if I’m nuts but golf class for 500 is somewhat more better of an deal, I think last years gold class was close to thousand, I can’t justify spending 500 for a knife but it’s more manageable then thousand bucks,
What type of process do they do to get the blue on SS . Is it hard to replicate it. Love the channel bro. Beautiful knife.

Yeah that’s why I hate to pre-order knives , they usually arrive after they release the knives to dealers
Would love to see just a standard upgraded steel on this such as s90 or equivalent with a nice mirrorwash instead of the damasteel, drop the price and becomes more of a high end user.
It would be so much better if they made it a front Flipper or a thumb stud deployed knife and remove that flipper tab because it really gets in the way of your grip
@@Stassa23 it’s exact to his model he makes . But he does have flipper with a nearly flush flipper or the top flipper. But this knife is made after the exact model amd name of his custom. Benchmade didn’t have to reinvent anything on this knife they just had to make it. The regular model is already discontinued

Hey Stassa, how can you tell what the degree it is sharpened at?
I have a Goniometer that I got from Catra that’s basically a protractor with a laser pointer in the center and it bounces off each side of the edge at the degrees of each side. I’ll try and do a video on it

The Rafir Uranium does more than just glow, it's UV reactive so it turns dark blue in direct sunlight, and then it glows greenish/yellow when its in the dark. Super interesting stuff, thinking about getting one of these or an Olamic Whippersnapper haven't decided which yet.
I think almost without a doubt I'd go Olamic
I had a whipper snapper and unless you want a dress knife I’d probably go with the Olamic

Why can’t they put a pocket clip on it including the standard model. It’s beautiful grail knife but your using pretty ruff for a $550 knife.

Yeah they put in an order for several new Microtech’s it just depends on when they do another batch of them. I’ll probably do a video the next time they get a new shipment 👌🏻

Wish they would do it a bit bigger with a clip and also that flipper tab is such a terrible design they should have moved it up further or cut the handle out to give you a choil at least

I just couldn't bring myself to use this knife, it's too pretty. Not to mention all the patterns on it are viking based and that's my heritage.
That’s totally understandable however you would be surprised how much it takes to actually scratch the blade especially because they etched the blade over a satin finish which helps a good bit on scratching. After my accident I started using all my knives because I get a lot of enjoyment from it and now if I don’t use them they have to go 👍🏻
