@@averagedcfan2021 yh well height isn't really needed in the libero position, in fact it can be a benefit as Shoji's centre of gravity is lower allowing him to move faster, but yes for volleyball in general he is quite short

Wow Shoji is amazing! He’s definitely my favourite libero. I’m the middle blocker (well I’m actually not tall) in the team but I usually stay in the court when I rotate to the back row. I’m trying out those cool defensive skills like diving and rolling these days!

I’m a volleyball player too, but to answer to your why? I think it’s because he knows he can save the ball so he just go get it. The point of volleyball is mostly saving the ball as much as you should so maybe that’s why they always go get the ball even though it’s out.

Mostly the height of volleyball players are around 6'6 to 6'8 and shoji being 6 feet is short so yeah he's smaller than most of the players
