- This is me reacting with my USA Volleyball teammate and friend, Matt Anderson, to a match we played against each other from the 2015 CEV Champions League. In this video Matt is playing for Zenit Kazan (Russia) and I am playing for Berlin Recycling Volleys (Germany). So happy Matt agreed to be on my channel...HE DROPS SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE! Hey Erik, loving all the videos and content. Big ups for uploading a long video and letting us really soak it in. If I may make one suggestion: When your guest is talking about something, try to hold your comments or commentary on the game if you're gonna let it keep rolling. It's quite distracting trying to listen to Matt make a point while hearing you talk about the live action. Maybe you can let it roll but then pause if you have something to say, so that Matt can finish his point and then you jump straight into the next point. But all in all these videos are awesome and keep up the great work!!
I think what plays into this is that erik probably knows (or has heard) most of the things matt says. However for me and i think a lot of viewers matt's stories where pretty damn interesting
@@thtrain I totally agree. My comment is purely from a viewer who is interested in volleyball point of view. I wouldn't mind watching Erik doing an interview with his teammates either, but if it's a game breakdown I'd prefer to just hear the breakdown and tips etc

Why volleyball is not popular in usa as basketball?
1 Reason: you can easily play basketball on the street (while growing up). You need more space and equipment. --> its easier for kids to get acustomed to basketball than volleyball.
@@simongalego I think its more about the culture. Cause like in iran volleyball is much more popular than basketball.
I think it's cultural too. In Brazil volleyball is very popular. People play it on the beach, on school and on clubs.

Honestly Matt needs to have a podcast or sum cuz he’s dropped some important gems in this “episode” and we’re all for it. At one point I was just like “please shut the audio of the video so I can hear him”. Overall, that was amazing and there’s plenty to learn from him obviously.

Thank you Erik to bring Matt and talk about the game. I just realized the talk with all the members of team USA that have been invited to this channel seem more comfortable/relax (than normal intv), because they know you and you are also part of the game.
