    Welcome back to another video here at Brigade Boats. If you're new, I encourage you to subscribe to the channel! We are building a great community here full of jon boat / Aluminum boat enthusiasts.
    Here is another #jonboattobassboat video. This video covers the build and installation process of a front deck livewell in an #aluminumboat . I'll walk you thru the process of the installation and overall function of the system.
    The boat featured is a 17ft aluminum bass boat, a Lowe 170. I did a full build out of the boat on my channel. In this video, I document the livewell portion of the build covering installation, product knowledge, system testing and operation in and out of the water, parts used, and finished product.
    The front deck livewell in this aluminum boat build turned out stellar! Most importantly is it functions better than it looks, providing a tournament grade experience out on the water! Hopefully, you can take something away from this video to help with your own project.

    Don't forget adding those bigger batteries will add a bit in back also. Maybe get another inch lower perhaps. Great work. I dig the love well in the front deck . And the electric builds ,pretty cool

    Awesome setup! Only thing I would have changed is to put the pump and switch downhill from the tank for when you gravity feed the tank on empty. I'd be curious to see if it really fully drains?

    • @AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats
      @AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Technically the pump is downhill relative to the tank , otherwise it wouldn't drain to the pump to recirculate. If you mean downhill from the tank as far as toward the back of the boat , that's typically how I prefer. Every boat is different and comes with different design obstacles to overcome..As shownat the end of video in the demo, it drains out the back fine. Thanks for the continued views and support!

    Wouldn’t the overflow drain hole back fill if the boat got too heavy and the outside hole was under the water?

    • @AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats
      @AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      the overflow is about 1 ft above the water line. Highly highly unlikely. If water is that high, boat is on its way to sinking! BUT, if water did get that high, the overflow hole through the hull is still 6 inches lower than the overflow fitting in the livewell because it uses gravity to overflow outside. So yeah, boat would need to pretty much sink for water to go through the overflow and into the livewell.

    I’ve had issues with the flow rite valve, it drains in the middle of a tournament. I think its cause the fish kick it open.🤷‍♂️

    • @AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats
      @AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats  ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you talking about the pump out aerator combo spray nozzle? It has to be pulled out to pump out. The valve is at the pump and is cable operated. I couldn't tell you the exact problem without looking at it but I've never had any issues ever with any FlowRite equipment.
