    Thank you. I disconnected my VPN and it worked. Just started using a VPN for the first time. I was about to chuck this printer over the balcony cause I had a deadline.

    I literally spend 15-30 minutes EACH time I want to print something with this Canon PIXMA TS9520. I always have to mess around with connecting it and re-connecting it to the router (which nothing has changed on), I power cycle, I put the router password in again. Today I've spent 2 HOURS trying and it stays "offline" on for both my laptop and desktop. I have read the "articles" which are a waste of time. I have reinstalled the drivers and tried it all again. I have "chatted" with the Canon robot which is also a wast of time. Is it too much to ask that a printer prints? I mean it's only 6-8 months old and had NEVER worked on the first try. I cannot get a REAL PERSON from Canon to help me. This video was great, but I've already tried all the suggestions multiple times. JUST NEED IT TO WORK HOW IT SHOULD.

    I literally have no idea hoe these useless printer got onto market, yes to you canon, my printer i just brought cannot connect to internet, so i brought a cable, then everytime i have the printer powered on and cable connected, printer not responding, i have to always restart my computer, why??? just why????

    My printer was not responding. I had gotten a new router. I connected my printer to the new router and rebooted the router. The on and wireless buttons on the printer were lit and the printer sounded like it was printing and then I would get the "printer is not responding " error. I tried rebooting the printer and my laptop and still got the error. Finally reinstalled the drivers on my laptop and reset the printer and now it works perfectly.

    Rubbish troubleshooting guide. Canon Pixma G3000 is the most user unfriendly printer I have experience. There is trouble every often and the user experience is frustrating.

    Mine was printing fine & then suddenly offline. This has done it from the start. I had to have it “refind” each other over again. Now, THAT won’t work. I’ve uninstalled & installed over & over. Rebooted my WiFi 3x - NOTHING works! My last step is to try returning to factory settings. Canon is trash!

      Ditto. I am on day 4 of trying to reconnect. It had been working fine and just disconnected for some odd reason and have been unable to reconnect though I see the network is enabled but disconnected.

    In the case of it being simply powered off... Is there any fix for why it keeps turning itself off?

    Turned off the eco mode and it still drops off wireless. Then later, magically it'll come back on and print jobs. Why can't it simply wake from sleep properly? Printer is only about a year old.

    How about if one day if French the next day it doesn't nothing changed nothing got unplugged. Nothing needs updating it still doesn't work didn't mention that either huh

    nonsense. my printer connect to router with wire. Garbage CANON, the LAST canon in my life.

    Wow this was of absolutely no help, can't believe I bought this junk.
