Thank you so much for sharing this. In my case it was the surge protector. I had it connected on a surge protector for a few years and now it doesn't turn on if I connect it to one. No matter what kind of surge protector it won't turn on but If I connect it directly to the wall it works perfectly fine. Thanks again.
@Lukas P I wish I can suggest something to help but I don't know why mine works now. I thought that the surge protector was damage but it is not. I plugged other things to it and it works fine. The only thing I can think of, in my case, is that maybe a printer update is blocking the use of a surge protector. I don't even know if that is possible but, in your case, did you try a new surge protector? Maybe in your case it could help.
I made number 4. I remove the power cord from the printer (canon ip3300) and from the socket for few minutes not an hour, and it is alive again! Thank you.
Well! I wouldn't have believed this. Tip No. 1 - try a different wall socket. Me: "This is not easy! As if this this is going to work!!!" - OMG - it did! The printer has fired up and is printing off the print queue. Thank you so much.
