I just brought one 3 months ago. It has full Termignoni exhaust and tuned and cams done with quick shifter. Wow what a bike. The bike has been looked after and always garaged and was only used as a weekend bike when he had time to ride it. The attention it gets is unbelievable and it sounds so good. I haven't heard one sound like this bike. Highly recommended to anyone. The bike is the pearl white colour. Thankyou for your upload. Cheers
@@bradyolandapuggle5039 awesome man happy to hear, got to love the mods. I agree she’s a real head turner and my girlfriend tells me she can hear me coming from down the street 😂. You’re welcome ride safe bud!
Waoh, that is impressive. You must really look after it, props to you! They're actually quite reliable, and before everything electric, so less can go wrong with it
Nice mate! 70k miles?? Not km?? Incred. Have you had any major trouble to note? I have a 2013 848 EVO. Got it 2 years ago. LOVE it. But did need a starter motor overhaul the 1st month I had it, just replaced the brushes. Also, did you ever bend those frame tabs which hold the rear-sets by chance, from a fall? Thanks! 🙏🏽
@@Scikonaut I am in the US. Mine has never been down. I had to replace the stator and regulator. I was able to get a set off of eBay from a crashed Multistrata. Tires every 1200 miles sucks, but it is fun. th-cam.com/video/8_WK4evAUao/w-d-xo.html
@@Scikonaut It's very impressive isn't it, I rarely see any bike with more than 30k miles so 70k is outrageous. I'm not sure about RideWNC but the only issue I had was radiator leak about 1 month in; other than that, bike's been very reliable. I dropped the bike when I tried putting it on a stand and bend my front break and back break levers yes 😅
They're interesting bikes & better looking than the later models. They're a bit of a money pit & only worth upgrading if you're gonna keep 'em long term. I've put a TTX & Marchesini M7RS wheels on mine so I'll have to keep it now. Bugger.
Lovely bike, I have to agree. I got my 2008 a couple months ago and don't regret it. Question for you. Are the side fairing '848' decals and nose fairing 'Ducati' letters stuck on top of the clearcoat or under it? Mine are on top, but the lettering on the tank is underneath, which I find to be a strange inconsistency. Others have reported the same on their base 848, but evo and 1098 owners are entirely under the clearcoat.
@@Rgh71fish glad to hear! I’m not really sure tbh, it feels like the letters are on top but I’ve never paid much attention to it. I ignore its flaws cause she’s too pretty 😂
My 848 EVO stickers are under the clear coat. I can’t imagine they would NOT apply clear coat to some stickers ? Could they be aftermarket fairings which someone added stickers to? Just curious 👍🏽
@@Scikonaut from what I've found, it seems that the base model 848 only cleared over the fuel tank 'Ducati' lettering. Everything else on the bike, nose, sides and tail are applied over top of the clear. Evos were all entirely under the clear. Why they did this, I have no idea, but it does seem to be consistent.
Buying one tomorrow!
@@pnwet_rider good luck, let me know how you get on!

Getting one in the next month or so and can’t wait👀
Congratulations!!! Enjoyyy and ride safe!
My 848 is pushing 70K miles. I bought it new in 2008. I know how it was taken care of. It was $13K new OTD.
