I like this build, not bored at all. I look forward to seeing the next video in this series. I'm not an International guy, but do have a rock crawler I am slowly building. Interesting to see what others are doing. I'm sure you put it out in an early video in the series, but I do not recall - why did you go with a turbo 4.3 over a 5.3 LS? Seems to me the power will be similar, though the 4.3 will have to rev higher to output the same horsepower.
@benjaminreinhardt259 glad you are digging it. Honestly the original idea for the 4.3 was something lighter and reliable. The turbo idea came as an afterthought as a means of pulling some more power and really just another cool factor.
I had the same issues with coil overs in the rear of mine. I cut out the old gas tank locations and put the coilover up ahead of the tire and am now running trailing arms. Works great.
I hate to be a party pooper, but when you find sloppy threads on stuff like manifold bolt holes, it kinda makes you wonder whether the head bolts, the main bolts, and the rod bolts are also sloppy.

Hindsight being what it is I wish I would have gone with trailing arms.
Great video series. Keep up the great work.
Appreciate it!! Thanks for following along!
I am also digging the build. Using a 4.3 with a turbo is a cool twist from the standard LS swap.
Yes sir!! Always good to be different!!
Im diggin the turbo stuff ,got me thinking now
I'm digging the build, build the mini bike would be cool
Thanks!! We will throw down on the mini bike soon!!
Not bored at all. Always great to see real world problem solving. Keep up the work, great content. :)
Awesome!! Appreciate the feedback man!!
Waiting for a busted knuckle, or a celebrity appearance. Other then that just waiting for the next update. Keep up the good work.
@@TuckerH. will do!!
You've probably already found one, but the Astro/Safari vans used a remote res for the power steering.
@larryboy8821 correct but I believe they still use the saginaw P pump can so that won't work. Hopefully the Type 2 pump will work for us.
Bring it on love it !
