Just wow, what a great trip. Kids grow up so quickly, treasure every day. I regularly take my young kids camping, lunch on the river, time spent in the state forest, fishing and 4wding. Best experiences 😊
That's awesome. Nothing like getting them outdoors hey. And you are right, before you know it they have grown up and might not be as keen to go out with dad anymore 😆
This was great Luke, I've got a 6 year old son and thus far I've only taken him to sanitised touristy campgrounds. I think you've inspired me to get him out bush.
I'm sitting here in Melbourne, Luke, wondering why I'm not up in the High Country like you. Anyway, the expanse and freedom of the Aussie bush! Way to go, mates. 🤠
Love your content man! Only found your channel recently but already an avid follower. So awesome to see a Dad taking his kids on adventures and encouraging an appreciation for the outdoors in them. Keep up the great videos!
Thanks heaps for watching mate. I really appreciate the kind words. Nothing better then getting outdoors with my kids thats for sure. Certainly will be making more vids this year. Good on ya!
these little two parter is pure gold. is the section of the wellington river you camped on and had fires outside of national park? i'm looking to do some wild river camping in that area, but wanting to have fires which I think are a no go in the NP
Thanks for watching Jordan. Actually one of the great things about the Alpine national park is that it is one of the national parks in Victoria where legally you are allowed to wild (dispersed camp) and have fires. Most of the drive in campsites in the alpine national park will have fire rings already, and you can also walk out and have a small fire if you know what you are doing and only collect fallen dead wood. You do have to be careful as there are some sensitive areas in the park that you are not allowed to have fires (like on the top of mount howit area, or near lake tali karng ) But yeah, there are a few national parks in Victoria where it is still legal to wild camp and have fires.
Thanks again. Congrats to the little tacker for persevering!
Thanks for watching Kim. Yeah he did well for 4 days of lots of walking
Congrats on hitting 1k mate, another brilliant vid
Thanks mate, I'm stoked I finally reached it .. onto the next 1k now haha.
Thanks for watching.

It's totally possible. I think 6 is a fantastic age to start doing more wild camping stuff with them!
What a fantastic spot to head, definitely on the list👌
You'd love it for camping with the full settup. Really high country is best explored with the 4wd
Thanks for another video, my 6 year old son and twin nearly 3 year old girls love the video`s, we watch them all the these holidays
Gday Garath. That is great to hear that your little ones enjoy watching the videos! and that you were able to watch some of the holidays. Cheers.

Thanks for watching mate. Yeah the Vicco High country really is a special place.
Far out mate, I'm bloody jealous of that trip!! Don't have any country like that in QLD. Loved it
Yeah no doubt. I do remember I loved the big rainforests and coconut palms on the beaches up in QLD though.
Really enjoyable video! I haven't been in this sort of country for many years but you took me straight back there. Happy 1K 👍
Cheers, thanks for watching Herb. Yup stoked with the 1k.

@@Lukeslittletribe ahhhh really? That’s great news, I thought only gas canisters were allowed. This opens up so many possibilities!
