That was an amazing video Dan. I really didn't know Australia had such beautiful alpine country like that. I would love to know more about the plant life, especially all those lovely pink shrubs. I'm really looking forward to seeing more. Thank you!
Now that was cool. I liked the stove tutorial. Even though it's not one I would use personally I still love knowing about as much different gear as possible.
Funny you should mention that, I've been thinking about starting a merchandise store and was going to burn "The Road Chose Me" into the leather hat. Would that be something you'd like or not?
@@TheRoadChoseMe Sure, I’d buy one! Also, logo window stickers , patches, even a calendar with expedition photos would be cool And of course your books. I’ll be buying your next book when you put it out!
Dan, as usual this has been very interesting. Couldn’t help but wonder why the trees were so denuded of leaves…reminded me of trees at high elevations in the Rockies…
In the States we had the Subaru Justy - Which was smaller than Dan's 'Rusty' - My friend had one in HS, thing was indestructible- 4WD on 13 in tires, locked differential - You throw snow tires on it, the Justy would climb Everest! (It brought many a keg up to the teenage party spot back in the 80's!)
The videography is improving. Makes me wish the Africa videos were like this. Can’t wait for more videos
Great video Dan! Thanks for sharing! 💛
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loved the Brumbies in the distance.....good to see not all culled....
We actually saw the chopper buzzing around the low valleys culling the brumbies and deer...

Beautiful country. The hiking trails look almost paved.

I love those kinds of environments where there is a lot of scrub plants that have so many textures and colors. Really cool.
Can’t wait for the 4wd videos ;)
Wow the country is looking so amazing up there. It’s one of my favourite parts of Aus. I miss it 😞
Dan - I'm Jealous as always - Happy Holidays from New England Dan

Awesome!
The scenery is really nice.
Yay!
Thinking of attempting in June, am I crazy or wouldn't it be too bad? Is the walk well signed with snow poles? And great video!
What’s the most dangerous animal in Australia 🇦🇺
... you guessed it, Frank Stallone
