      @@DaveBoothangler I consider it a right of passage dave😁 there weren't the commercial bait rollers around that there are now so you pretty much had to do your own, I must admit it was hard work and when companies started rolling for you I sold all my stuff to a mate, funnily enough he still rolls his own with the gear I flogged to him👍🎣😁

    Good vid dave i have made my own bait for years now and enjoy catching carp on stuff i made and believe you can make bait as good as any of the top bait companies as long as you use decent ingredients .

    • @DaveBoothangler
      @DaveBoothangler  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks mick ..yes your right there only using what we can buy...and catching on your own bait is such a buzz...you can make as dear or as cheap as you like..its something else in carp fishing thats under used tbh as its easier to go buy your bait i suppose if strapped for time

    Cheers for the video. I've just started making my own boilies and been playing about with various mixes. I have a steamer. I know it probably depends on the mix, but how long in general do you steam for?

    • @DaveBoothangler
      @DaveBoothangler  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching mate...a good start is to put a few in and steam for 7 mins...15mm.....see what they look like but it's trial and error really my mixes range from 7 to a max of 10 mins....hope this helps..let them cool down before testing too as will still feel soft if warm :)

    Hi friend I can not activate Bell . I get a message is not for children. I do not know if the problem is on my side or on your part, check it because if it is on your part it is very serious that people do not know when you upload new video That happens to me only on your channel so it is possible that it is on your part 🤔
