It was there! It could have been a great shot if I just held the camera for a few more seconds...but we hope to go back to Elks neck this summer & I will be ready! Thanks for watching Lisa!
Susquehanna state park in maryland is smaller than elk neck, but about 10 miles south of it . Still a very nice park, lots of hiking. ya might want to check it out also
New subscriber and I’m Enjoying your trip with you. We live near Baltimore and have stayed in all the Maryland State Parks. We have an A-Liner and are the same kind of campers as you guys. We like the woodsy more private campsites, so State Parks suit us the best. Our dog enjoys camping too. Now, on to Greenbrier ....
It’s a beautiful park. I saw a flash of the eagles wings at the edge of the trees on the first sighting. 😊That cliff was huge and you could not tell that until you showed the edge like you did. The mantis was cool. I like how you focus on the unusual things in your videos. I also do that in my videos on my channel Memaw’s Matters. I subscribed and will be following your travels 👍🏻
Thanks Debbie, next time we get to Elk Neck we will bring the Kayaks to get a view from the other side of the cliffs & do some of those great hiking trails that go down the sides. I like to show the big picture & the fun little details of traveling 😁 Thanks for following us & we will check out your channel!
I will work on that- the next few parts of this trip are almost done being edited, but for the next series I will work on longer content! It is nice to hear that you guys are enjoying it because we have fun making these videos
Love your chanel and we are thinking on buying a scamp or something close to it for the lightweight and compact size. Can you suggest any things maybe. Keep up the good work and we will be watching thanks.
Scamp is hard to find, especially a used one in good condition as people hold onto them, but there are some other brands that are similar like casita. They are slightly heavier but similar size and function- Thanks for watching! 😁
Nice travel video, keep them coming. We own a 17' Bigfoot and have many friends with Casitas , Escapes, and Scamps. We've been attending molded fiberglass trailer rallies for 14 years.
I am looking forward to attending a fiberglass rally- this community is a lot of fun- we would love to hang out with a group of other fiberglass RV enthusiasts
it is a great park- we plan on getting a Kayak rack for the Jeep next year & then we will return to Elks Neck for a few nights to fully explore the park. I really want to hike the trails along the cliffs & do some kayaking on the Chesapeake Bay
that is interesting! I have always liked everything in nature. When I was a kid my friends collected barbies & I had a collection of rocks, pressed flowers, snake skins, bird nests and squirrel skulls that I found in the woods...just no spiders...I don't like spiders
My family did car camping. There was one adventure where we stayed overnight in Santa Fe, NM. The state park was in the mountains (over 6000 feet). My parents slept outside and my brother and Slept in the station wagon. Around 1 AM it got to cold for my father and he got in the car wit us leaving my mother to freeze by herself. The next morning while my mother was arguing with my brother about putting rocks in the car, I was on the other side loading rocks I found in.
@@kenshores9900 can't pass up a good rock! I will usually have a few rocks in the jeep by the end of a trip- some things never change- Patrick is starting to accept that as normal 😏
Thanks Terre, I agree- we need more of Patrick's handsome face 😁 he is getting more comfortable with the camera. I have been doing yoga videos for about 10 years so I am pretty used to it by now
I love how calming your voices. It always makes me happy to hear you talk. You are very beautiful and patrick is a lucky man.
Thank you! 😃 its all those years of teaching yoga!
I totally grew up there, across the river in Havre de Grace.
we just did a trip to Havre de Grace...we loved it! such a great area we wanted to stay longer 😁
oh and the scamp is cool to...
good to know you saw that part too
Great video! See the bald eagle at 1:07. Just a tiny flash on the left atop of the trees. Thanks for sharing! God Bless!

By the way Praying Mantis are in the same family with cockroach’s. Interesting? Have always liked praying mantises. Good video.

Again, excellent video. Love the Bald Eagle. I have never been to that park. Can't wait to check it out. Keep up the great work and be safe.
Thanks! we were pretty excited about the Bald Eagle- if you have some time to spend there you will get to see all sorts of wildlife- really nice park
Great video keep it up. Patrick needs to get more involved though.
