Elk Neck State Park is a beautiful spot on the Chesapeake Bay. I grew up in Baltimore, MD, I spent a large part of Summer When I was 15, I moved to Bainbridge Island, WA, which is a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle...The Chesapeake Bay and Puget Sound are both wonderful places!
What a lovely place that is. Cliffs Cove is just lovely. It’s great just to sit in shallow water to cool off. Really enjoyed video, thanks for taking me along. Please stay safe
Hi Cliffs, I really liked this slightly different video. I also like lighthouses, I'm in a group be that restored a lighthouse on the north Florida Gulf coast, the Crooked River Lighthouse.
I just love lighthouses! Looks like you all had an amazing time. You have quite the beautiful cove Cliff!! Even if you are hazardous I will keep hanging out at my own risk, Lol. Thanks for taking me along. 🦋🥰
That lighthouse has a twin! Marblehead light house on Lake Erie, Ohio, is the same style, I think the window is slightly different. Such a beautiful place....love the rocks on the beach. Thank you for taking us there! 😊
It’s been a few years since I’ve been there. I stayed in the cabins that just had beds in it. I brought a kayak. I used my car and bike to shuttle my kayak. I would take it to the sandy beach opposite the campground and would kayak around the point where the lighthouse and end up at the nicer cabins at the state park. I would leave my kayak beached there and would walk to my cabin to get my bike and bike to my car then retrieve my kayak. I have pictures from that trip on the state park google map reviews. I saw bald eagles and people who made their living from fishing, and catching crabs?? I really miss the east coast so much to see and do. You should head down to Chincoteague and Assateage Island ( Virginia side)to explore its really neat to see you can also Kayak to see the “wild ponies”.
I love watching your channel every time you're on and all your episodes I will keep watching

You don't look too dangerous to me, buddy! LOL Beautiful place!
Beautiful spot WW
Did you know that this location was used in the Clint Eastwood movie Absolute Power? And your cliffs are hazardous sign too!
Another great video. At least since it already has your name, it already makes it claimed by you as your new favorite place? Some awesome views.
One of my favorite spots.
@@thewanderingwoodsman7227 I can definitely see why. Hope you are well my friend.
Beautiful area. Thank for sharing. Was the flora any different there being farther south?
