The most amazing thing to me is at 17:57 where he instantly calculated the percentage of kill participation. I was truly amazed by the speed of that only to then calculate it myself and realize he got it all wrong.
He makes these mistakes quite often, I'm not sure why he just says random numbers lol
Mideasts brain is basically a computer. This is how he perfectly calculated lethal to kill Dopa in lane
2 kills + 16 assists with 23 total kills means 18/23 kp
I always find it funny when he does that with the cs/min too, like saying "we're at 230 cs in 25 minutes that's 9.6cs/min" and sometimes the number doesn't even come close lol

That's why I sometimes play yorick mid as well because mid laners love to roam. Then after their 2nd roam, they have no 1st tier tower.

bard main here. not a useful pick i don’t think unless you are high high elo. games go 25-35 minutes below platinum. it’s not that a roaming top is that bad it’s that there are so many better options. like if you picked fiora you would have a late game fiora, or a jax, or anything else top. you’re giving up the entire lands worth of gold. you don’t even farm, so if they have a splitpusher or a nasus or something gg. sure bard is a good champ but that’s why we play him support. maybe just leave your adc more and give this a try but then you are just playing bard basically

I kinda wish I would play vs Bard tops. I would just like someone like Kayle, Nasus, Yorick, Vlad. And just get free farm and plates. Bard top is no different than Quinn top really. Just gotta make sure you ping alot when Bard goes missing.

This is what LS was preaching about Bard but in mid. Now imagine with actual coordination and a scaling jungler which can soak up the waves Bard loses.

Trundle is an amazing jungler with Bard. The pillar allows Bard to easily stun opponents. I like to grab knights vow and ditch top at 14 minutes to follow Trundle

Happychimenoises already made this video several months ago. Surprised to see it took so long to catch on. And he rated it pretty highly.
But unlike Janna top, I don't think this can be replicated easily. I mean Bard is hard to use by itself as a support, now imagine as a top laner who doesn't get lane experience. I think this only works because of the player.
Same as other technical picks like the Taric Jungle or Leona AP Jungle from the other 2 streamers.
@@konaqua122 I tried it, it felt very good despite me first timing bard. You get xp from chimes so you don't have to play perfectly. I played it bad and it still felt strong
I think its only fine when you get to higher elo. its too dependent on having good adc and or mid.

I would say this is similar to thebausffs where the goal is not get kills and win games but more about alternative way to get golds/help team… kinda weird tho

From time to time when i got tank jungle and a mage botlane instead of support, i take ivern top, you do lane and cs for a quick mythic then you roam around and be annoying.
Vs most toplaners tank included you're more usefull from 10 to 25 minutes and you can contest objectives for free this is underrated cause support champions fonction as low economy. They don't need a lot of gold nor level to function. But if they do get some and enough early in the game then you just take over by how usefull you are.
Thanks to these vids, they give me inspiration on what to play in ranked.
Bardinette is toxic as f too and if bard is taken by lathurys (another bard otp) or banned his alternative is taric top with 40% w/r. I have seen him several times on Broxah streams as an allie and broxah always mute him because he pings and whines all the time at chat

This strat won't work with my Yorick or Silvers. All of yorick players and silver players, when they see this kind of play, they just push mindlessly. Well, Silver players might try to roam as well, but Yorick mains, oh my, we would celebrate for the free lane, and free tower.
After destroying the top tower in probably 10 mins coz no one's there, you now have access to top jungle. Good luck on opponent jungle not getting behind at that point.

This guy knows what he's doing, though - at least in this particular game. I could imagine this strategy falls apart very quickly if your team is behind during early or mid game.

I think this is legitimate if you’re actually good at the game. Knowing when to roam, where to roam, when to engage , who to ult, all that stuff.
If you’re blaming your teammates for being bad then you’re just bad and no champ/strat will help you climb

They could fix this by removing bounties altogether, i dont like the idea that u get a free pass to come back after u played poorly...ive lost too many ranked games cuz my team feels safe and 1 bad teamfight even tho we are 10k gold ahead and it ends up costing us the game
If you played poorly in the beginning the game shouldn’t be instantly over, and 2k gold lead for 400 + 300 gold on a kill is not 2k back

If ur behind they have shutdowns, 1k gold + 150 for assists, plus thry get atleast a tower or 2 plus objective, which is 500g EXTRA for a tower + 600 for baron on top of the bonus gold u get from it. How is it fair that u can be 10k gold behind and lower that to 3k with 1 or 2 teamfights. Its bs. Remove bounties if j fall behind cuz u misplay thats on u.

I don't think it's "better" than the most traditional toplaner, it just depends on what you want to play and what's more comfortable for you.

its usually rushed on tanks that go chempunk chainsword -> tank mythic (vi, hecarim, jarvan etc). this is so they have at least some damage early game as it often feels really bad to rush your tank mythic; super slow clear, objective control, and zero damage in early game as a jungler that is supposed to be more proactive in the early game before they fall off.
used to be a lot more op tho when the price was 2600 instead of 2800. but they nerfed it because it was too cost efficient.
