    If Fiido makes it 500W and gives it a throttle, I’m in!

      I'm taking the leap and getting it. At 350w it's better that the Ado Air 20s and DYU TI. They are both 250w with throttle but 'm going to have someone fit a throttle on for me. I'm not bothered about the speed... however, the controller can be changed to make it fo a little faster but at full speed of 22mph that's actually all i want. I rode an e bike that only went 15mph on a throttle, it was fine but not fast enough to get out of sticky situations.
      This review is a little bias to small riders cause he is much heavier, so the bike goes much slower. I'm going to test drive it and see for myself. I reckon i'll do my own review as a smaller, lighter person.

    We have been riding the Fiido X v1 bikes (with 250 watt motor) for several months and are now waiting for the new v2 (with reinforced frame) to be delivered. The X bikes drive extremely smooth, very good, natural feeling pedal assistance. The performance at level 1 is much better when compared to our non-foldable e-bikes (with a Bosh motor) driving at level 2. We practically never have to switch to a higher assistance level. I did hear that with Fiido x2, which is being reviewed here, the performance levels have been adjusted and redistributed, giving less assistance at level 1 and more at higher levels. This will increase the range but will also let you switch more often to higher assistance levels. A few remarks though:
    I would NOT recommend choosing the 350W over the 250W engine. With 350W engine you can reach indeed speeds over 35km/h, however as the bike is equipped with only 7 gears you'll be pedaling like crazy to maintain that max speed. The 7 gears are best suited for a speed up to 25km/h, giving you a comfortable driving experience. The 350w will also consume more energy resulting in less range.
    The realistic (average) range is the one advertised divided by 2. The 250W engine advertises a range of 140km, realistically you get 70km out of it in good weather conditions, driving most of the time at level 1 assistance. With v2, because of the redistribution of the power assistance levels, you will get more km out of it when driving at level 1 assistance.
    Contrary to what is said here, and to my experience, it impossible to get 70 km out of the 350W engine bike when pedaling continuously at assistance level 3.

    I see you ride with the derailleur guard. I got a Fiido X and mounted the guard, but found out it actualy sits on top of the derailleur mount. The guard deformes the derailleur position, making shifting off. It rattles with the guard. Didn't you experience the same?

    it would be better with telescopic handlebar or some solution to adjust it as it feels more comfortable when you can sit straight and also these bikes missing some suspension

    • @RedskullPro
      @RedskullPro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I only tried one bike that has an adjustable in height handlebar... That's also the bike that I use for myself. It is much more comfortable sitting up straight. For suspension... for this type of in town bike... maybe not that necessary since it would add some more weight. Thanks for checking out the video

      It's 35klm - 22mph on the 350w model, but if you are overweight, that may vary. If you are 5'4 - 5'6 and weigh 60 - 70kg, you'll easy get 22mph
