Hexham is 21 miles west of Newcastle or 20 miles west if you go through corbridge- it is 39 miles east of Carlisle. I know this as ive done it by car many many times.
This looks a lovely town indeed, and I was a bit disappointed with your 8.5 - I think it's defo worthy of a 9 or 9.5 !! The estate agents always put the expensive houses in the window . . . The lowest purchase for the area was a static caravan at around £35k, and some flats from £50k, £79k and up to £120k - some on at auction. I am going up to Sunderland soon, and will go on up to Hexham for a walkabout, cos it's so lovely - thanks for the peek 😁
@@joline2730 yeah, did rate maybe a tad low, was nearly a nine! I’ve had a habit of scoring a wee too high of late, so trying to temper that! Was some very expensive houses. When driving out I did see what might be more affordable places but on streets that were a bit samey looking like everywhere I guess
The building next to the grapes is being renovated into apartments 👍🏼

I think 8.5 is a fair score, there are nicer places in Northumberland.
@@Hiram8866 true enough, there are some excellent places yeah
I lived in hexham 40+ years, only been back once in the last 17 years. Nothing has really changed in the town centre.
