  • Armed robbery is a reality many people face. One of those people is a member of our team. Christin was robbed prior to joining us when she was away at college. She talks about that experience in this video and how she reacted. We put her through a recreation of that event in our force on force shoot-house.
Suffice to say, her reaction was different than it was years ago. It serves as proof that if you want to be an effective self-defender, you need force-on-force training as a part of your regiment. Be it shoot house training for guns, sparring for martial arts, or other avenues, don't get comfy with static class space. Pressure testing transforms both your skillset and mindset.
Please share with your friends who are ready for that shift from feeling like a victim to being a fighter. Our Reactive Handgun class will be up soon.

At 2:00 elevated heart rate due to aerobic exercise is very different from elevated heart rate due to adrenal stress reaction, agreed.
At around 125 bpm loss of fine motor movements, at 145 bpm loss of complex motor movements, at 190 bpm dorsal vagal shutdown.
One question why are you calling the cops on yourself? Through no choice of your own you just committed a crime. There is no law that says you have to hang around or call the cops after shooting someone in a self-defense situation.

Great breakdown and agreed. In terms of notifying, it Depends on the state. But it is a good idea to make the homicide as justified under the eyes of the law as possible. You want your story to be known before that of a third person is. If you have to be located by the police in the investigation (and they will find you if you live in a city), it's going to be a bad look in court. We would rather get ahead of it and lawyer up.

She did. Bad draw under stress (knife point).

@@AppliedDefenseConceptsLLC yeah I'm not criticizing. Stress and adrenaline really messes with fine motor skills and so much else.
