Everybody sang what's the best for their type of vocals. Not all line distributions have to be fair, this isn't as autotuned as Underground so it's fair that the vocalists shine here.
I think people are forgetting that it's very common for JPOP groups to have one vocal who would sing all lines for their songs. We can see in Lettuce that Rui was the one who was mostly singing because Rui is their vocalist. That's not to say other members can't sing well nor perform but Rui was assigned to be their main vocal. She is tasked to carry the singing for most of their songs.
@@angsilaw A MAJORITY??? I'm sorry, but there is no way you listen to more than a handful of Japanese groups if you use that word. There are definitely some groups that use the vocalist/performer concept and that's absolutely fine, but it's nowhere near a majority with the thousands of idol groups that exist in Japan. No way, no how.
Idk I’m personally very happy when every member at least gets one part, I found Miyuu and Sayaka’s rap parts very fun! I say them non stop lol. I’m also really happy hearing more Ruri on this song compared to the others besides Underground, she has such a nice voice Kaede and Rui sound great too, UFO might be their best song????? Idk we’ll see
Not sure how I feel about the misinformation being spread that it's a norm in Japan that groups use the vocalist/performer system. Those groups definitely exist and it's accepted. In some groups, like da-ice f.ex, there are members that sing and members that don't, and we love them for that. However, this is much more niche than some people make it out to be. LDH kinda made it their thing with groups like this in their golden era but have since started creating more groups that don't use the system where all members sing or rap. In other companies it was never a huge thing and a lot of groups that used to do it have now disbanded. At this point not a lot of groups remain that still use this system and it was never huge to begin with. Japan has a huge idol scene, and in most groups every member sings. That doesn't mean we don't welcome groups with members who don't sing, but again, I don't like that there seem to be people going around saying this is the norm in Japan when it isn't. Let's not spread misinformation.
kinda miss this kind of line distribution. i think it's unnecessary for fans to want other members to sing more when theyre not even the vocal. like they can serve w/o needing more lines
yes and i think i saw somewhere that japanese groups usually have a main vocal who just sings the whole time..? (correct me if i’m wrong) so this is actually pretty good the way it is
i think so too. i like it when everyone has solo parts, unlike a fire truck. I like Rui's voice, but I also like the Kaeda's, Sayaka's, Ruri's and Miyuu's voices
Idk why the comments on this are so defensive cause i see people asserting saying "this is ok there's nothing wrong with this" as if the video existing is shade in itself 😭 i think regardless of how this looks on paper, it's a great song & they clearly care about line distribution as they did underground perfectly. if they continue with the trajectory they have now, i think every fan can appreciate the moments they have with their favorites. i have yet to see someone complain so hopefully we can all just appreciate the music
I think people are quick to be defensive due to the large amount of people who 1: complained about the distribution on Firetruck and Lettuce, and 2: Cheered at the distribution on Underground. Since this is less even than Underground I think a lot of fans defend it in case the same people who were complaining for Lettuce turn out to be unhappy with this. That's just my hypothesis though, cuz I agree that there aren't actually that many people complaining. Even on the MV I've only seen like 3 comments that mention it.
I think it's stupid to expect/ always want even distributions. Vocal talents vary in groups and parts should be distributed in a way that best support the song. A member having no lines/ a couple words is the only time I can understand complaining about line distributions
Tbh I get what everyone is saying but the last Rui Gacha Gacha part could’ve been split between Miyuu and Sayaka. Like I understand the everyone got good stand out parts but Rui still would’ve been the most and Sayaka and Miyuu would have at least ten seconds. Sorry you wouldn’t catch me debuting so sing no 8 seconds in a 2 minute song. Obviously it’s no hate to the girls but even they said all members were made to have equal lines in Underground so why not keep up that energy.
Really I think people have to accept it because this J-Pop and not everyone is going to have equal or close to equal lines. Plus it's better than no lines
Everybody sang what's the best for their type of vocals. Not all line distributions have to be fair, this isn't as autotuned as Underground so it's fair that the vocalists shine here.
This isnt even bad, the vocal members sang and the others got parts that suited them especially if they didnt want to sing much anyways

It's common for LDH* groups. You can't just say that abt jpop groups. Do you even know iscream?😂
@@p0laroideuit’s common for a lot of jpop groups, maybe not all but it is a majority

This might be uneven but i definitely wouldn't say it's unfair also think it's Kaede instead of Kaeda

I'm in love with Rui's voiceee❤

exactly like sayaka ate her line so bad
Sayaka literally abducted my heart omg ❤😍
I think they are improving like Underground now Ufo everybody got part And We now know atleast some of the other's Vocal capability

Literally fighting ghosts tbh
It is not that, it is just the way people are treating it as if kpop and jpop work the same, and they don’t
The way there was like only two comments saying its a little unfair (they werent even mad just sharing an opinion)

Yeah plus they have time to rest before other songs they are featured more in
love the layout but it's spelled *kaede* (I've noticed the same mistake in other videos:)
yes, i constantly confuse kaede and kaeda 😅

I wish the other members at least got to sing one chorus each😔
They're not vocal members

3 of the members are not singers lol
