To new hi-5's : line distribution wasn't this good before because for a lot of J-pop groups it's normal to have a vocalist and a bunch of dancers in one group, Rui is the vocalist / center, while the others were dancers with no vocal training at all, now they are training and working hard to give us more songs like this one !!
Hi, just clearing up. Jpop has many different systems and one great system is a vocalist and performer system where mainly theirs 1 -3 vocalist and a while bunch of dancers. (Ex: Da-ice, Da-pump, Exile tribe, and mainly LDH artist) But this unit is not a vocal/performer unit their all vocalist the only ones who are getting vocal train are Miyuu, Kaede, and Sayaka they used to be performers in E-girls/EG Family, Ruri and Rui are vocalist. Just to clear it up all of them are singers in this group {Just a little fun fact, Kaede actually wanted to sing and auditioned but didn't get it so she went for dancing cause she was good at that too}
i feel like the reason this song has fair distribution is because they KNOW their main audience is kpop fans that are probably used to fair-ish line distributions. its nice to see it cause i love hearing kaede sing
I actually think it's because previous fans of Happiness are angry Ruri a veteran singer been in the game 10+ years and they give it to Rui who just debuted like 3 years ago when Ruri has been mistreated even in the previous groups she was in. But I guess kpop fans play a role. LDH has been having an issue with lime distribution before F5ve
I love how nobody notices that the underground subgenres like vkei and parapara are shown in this video. Like they are going underground to escape the work culture but also engagin in japanese subcultures as an escape. That's so cool
Fire truck and lettuce were not my taste of song (not bad songs tho !) but underground is MY FAV SONG EVER when people ask what’s your fav song from now this is it, I hope they release more like this
idk if all their songs will be like this from now (or any of them lol) but I really enjoyed this! Part of the fun of groups imo is the different voices and performers, so when other members get to sing and get screentime too it's really fun
