I m learning to make games for almost an year now, now I am confident enough to work on a project and publish it , thanks for this review and motivation ,u earned a sub ✌️
Thank you! Started from scratch, and documented the whole thing. I only had one game out before I started monetising (the egg one). And I don't think that made much difference...
Yay...Played Don't Drop Dan, loved it and then saw the ad. Then I downloaded that game..Weird how in-game ads encourage you to leave that first game. Imagine a can of Coke advertising Pepsi. Well done on a great game and video.
Nice! It’s wonderful to hear someone enjoyed a game of mine and thank you for the kind words. Ads are interesting, perhaps I should make my own for the same reason, could even make a video about it 🤔
At the moment I'm making my first game. Hope to publish on play store soon. But after multiple videos I already decided I don't wanna mess my game with ads at all. And specially for this amount what they pay. It's just not worth it. I will gonna put some ingame cosmetics options only. If people want to buy I'm happy if not I'm happy to. Most important for me is to get someone to try it out and actually enjoy. Money making with games are for popular and rich 😂
That is the best way to look at it, just have fun making it and hope people have fun playing it, the money is secondary, if it comes then awesome but if it doesn’t you can still be happy with the achievement of making a game and people playing it 😁 good luck with your first game, wish you the best!
heres the deal, i read somewhere that its paramount that if your user interacts with a banner then you should make it reload another add imediately to prevent that, because they dont want people to exploit their system, its so that brands feel save paying for ads on digital services like videos and apps and its upon the developer to decide how to make sure that is the case...
Yeah, I can see how it makes sense for ad providers to do that. It would stop people from spam clicking ads, saving the brands paying for ads money. Thank you for sharing that information! Hi Alex, I'm a developer too, and i have a question about google abmod and ads, my question is if i need to have some traffic or number of download for to see the banner that i create it? cause i code it, but this never show on the app.
Hey, good question. As far as I'm aware ads should start showing as soon as they become available. You may need some traffic before this happens. Also make sure your App id's are set correctly and the advertisement unit ID is also set correctly for things to work. But here's a way to check make sure things are working properly beforehand: You should still be able to view test ads and banners. Admob makes this pretty easy, they have demo ad units here: developers.google.com/admob/android/test-ads Just replace your ad unit with the banner test ID (ca-app-pub-3940256099942544/6300978111) and you should see a test banner appear. If you don't something is not working right. If you do, then all should be good. Just remember to replace the test ID with the real one when you release the game/app. Hope that helps! :)
Hey, if you want to get your app validated as far as I’m aware it needs to be on the stores. Don’t worry though, your app will still show ads in the meantime, it will just be very limited. So put ads in, test and upload as normal. Then once your game is out, validate it through the admob console. You won’t need to change anything or reupload your app, it should just work as expected from there.
Yeah I did, they’re all c# made in Unity. I’m not sure I understand the second part of that question sorry. I build and export the games from Unity and upload them to Google play console and App Store (through Xcode). I hope that answers your question 😁

Treat recording and editing like you would developing a game. Plan it out, create a draft, build on it and most importantly have fun doing it. If you don’t find it enjoyable it will seem impossible. @@jokera7570 good question, you can still get enough downloads to make money without any advertising. But you’d be leaving it to luck. Advertising will increase your chances!
Good question! Yes, I’d say so. I mean there’s a handful of other monetisation options and some might work better than others for certain types of apps. It’s always worth experimenting. With that said, ads are slow, and may be small income at first. But if you work on it, or if you’re lucky and you’re game is a success, that can change.
