I really enjoy watching bollywood reactions with Steph. I think PK was a great movie. It raised all the right questions. It wasn't about insulting religious sentiments but was asking people not to be blind and not let religion be misused and abused by people who twist it to scare people. Aamir Khan and the director Raj Kumar Hirani are powerful duo.

PK is the best. People are comparing OMG with PK. But I found PK way funnier and explained in a much better way. OMG is more about preaching inside in a courtroom. I find it better when the audience gets to feel/watch rather than hear. PK has explained religion through comedy. I liked OMG too but PK made me cry and laugh a lot more! I think it’s a lot more innovative to see an alien discover things on its own than to just watch a courtroom case

Movie isn't bad but the main problem is that Bollywood always targeted Hinduism. They have already made fun of Hindus in so many movies and in pk they made fun of lord Shiva

According to English, God is The source of creation hence only bhrama is god so how many temples of god have you seen? everything has its own deep symbolic significance like for example replacing of Ganeshji head by shiva(the consciousness) symbolizes replacing arrogance and establishing auspiciousness hence every new work is started with ganesh..likewise for knowing metaphorical meanings of Purush&Pakriti ,shiv parivar etc see orignal texts instead of films that promote misinformation so that people forget truth

It was a good movie until i came to know the reality of these movies ... Now i hate watchibg pk , rather i find OMG to be a more balanced and less biased depiction ... Pk to me is a blatant one sided attack and mockery of my religion and god. That shiva bhagwan scene now send chills down my spine . Compelling me to think , had it been any another religion's person of importance , what would have been the reaction of the people from that religion?..... And i know i am now not alone thinking this. There are many people who have risen to not let movies become a tool of mockery. Long way to go...

Someone might already have commented, but to give you some context: Although many people understand and speak Hindi in India, the language has many dialects. What "PK" picked up from the lady was a dialect from the state of Rajasthan.
When people ask him whether he is drunk (not tipsy) in that dialect, they use the word 'Peekay"... hence PK.
Bro. The dialect is Bhojpuri. He picked it in Rajasthan but the lady he picked it from was a Bhojpuri speaker. They clearly mention it in the movie.

Some Hindus get rid of the arrogance(caused by maya) by surrendering to deities and once one get rid of maya(illusionary world) of senses they get to know about true self as to later on become all inclusive bhrama , but there are many non theistic schools of thoughts in hindu philosophy also like charvaka philosophy, certain approaches of vaisheshika system or even nasadiya sukt..old Indian universities like nalanda ,sharda peth ,Takashila etc were destroyed in centuries of destruction hence certain misinformation is prevelant
