This movie was an eye opener for us. It was a unique way to educate people about wrongdoings in the name of religion.❤
But still few bhakts could not tolerate as it was acted by Amir Khan.

I liked the concept of the movie but for me Oh My God movie was mind blowing maybe because it came before this film. The scene explaining fear of god was my most favorite scene in the movie and EXACTLY what we see in India.
OMG was good, because it just dealt with hinduism, there was no false comparisons and they weren't propagating the monotheistic viewpoints, unlike this movie where they explicitly stated that only one God created us and the rest are created by humans and worship the true creator god and so on. Wait, doesn't that sound very familiar.
@@shubhamprasad4350 omg is based on a very old Gujrati natak and the person is a Hindu who is trying to fight with the managers and salesman of his religion but it mentioned in the movie how all the religions are connected. In the pk movie the alien had no religion when he came to earth so they showed multiple religions. PK targeted fake Hindu Godman because the actress had a hindu religion and maybe because 80% of India will be able to relate with the movie more. In the movie PK they never said about multiple gods, the statement was like there are only two gods one which created us and one which the fake godman created, why are you manipulating this statement to sound like something else? I liked oh my god because it was a completely new concept for me and the points put in the movie really made sense to me but a lot of people didn't watch that movie they watched PK instead maybe that's why PK became such a huge hit.

One of the best movies ever. And funny thing is there's actually a Baba right now in india called Bageswar like Tapasvi who claims to have superpowers and does magic tricks to fool his devotees.

@@VeerGreen I was 17 or 18 when this Movie released and I thought while watching it that maybe in 10 years time Indians would have matured enough to be not fighting over things like Religion. But here we are and that is why this Movie is a Classic, which has stood the test of time and continues to be relevant even today.
Also, I'm a devout and proud Hindu who knows that the Hinduism is much more than a religion. It is robust enough to not be hurt by a 2 Hour Movie and dynamic enough to accept its flaws and reform itself accordingly. It's self-proclaimed 'Dharm ke Thekedars' like you who purposely go looking for reasons (where there are none) to get offended and butt-hurt that are giving my religion a bad name. Don't make Religion your whole personality man, Dangai ban kar reh jaaoge. Have other interests and purposes in life.

He is a such a big actor that he can make the movie on his own terms... And do you think if the director and script writer had also included the concept of "shattering of goats during the Eid is wrong" in the movie then he would have agreed upon it...??!

According to English, God is The source of creation hence only bhrama is god, everything has its own deep symbolic significance like for example replacing of Ganeshji head by shiva(the consciousness) symbolizes replacing arrogance and establishing auspiciousness hence every new work is started with ganesh..likewise for knowing metaphorical meanings of Purush&Pakriti ,shiv parivar etc see orignal texts instead of films that promote misinformation

Moral of the story: It's your own self believe and emotional connection with the god figure we all had been praying or taught by our ancestors and family.
