- We spent some time with the Chevrolet team checking out lots of their newest vehicles, including the highly capable new Colorado ZR2 pickup truck, putting it through its paces on a selection of agility courses outside of the track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The new 2017 Colorado ZR2 packs a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine, impressive Multimatic DSSV shocks, front- and rear-locking differentials, and much more. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
That suspension is absolutely amazing. DSSV dampers for the win.

no shit right. the whole time I'm sitting here thinking which of my neighbor's low riders I should take but then I'm like wait why do that I'll just go buy my 2 year old son a cheap power wheel knock off and let him do it, and the cheap ones just like the four wheeler one I got him has one wheel drive.

I know he could and he walk up to the people in the Chevy afterwards with the plastic keys and drop them and say "owned" then walk away with a strut. He's kind of a little smartass with his daddy's attitude. Not to mention ahead of most kids his age. I've had people ask me if I lie about his how old he is.

insane man. the mini trucks are the size of full size pickups from just a few years ago. trucks are too dam big now.
Such a well built truck 2 years later and it is still on top. Check out the new car and driver article. Jeep gladiator vs Ford ranger vs Tacoma vs ridge line. No spoilers here but all I'm gonna say such a well built truck.
The hood on the zr2 is sick. Lucky, it bolts right up to a stock (in my case) z71.

That will be my next truck! I had planned to buy out my leased Colorado in a few months as it's been totally trouble free, tows extremely well with great mileage and power! But the ZR2 is just awesome!

danthebig__Z :v only if the diesel becomes available in the Ext Cab model would I consider it. Cause I feel the gas engine is very good to begin with! Plus the newer gas engine has more power and eight speed trans now. TFL has a video of a comparison of a gas vs. diesel Colorado, the gas was faster going up the Ike Gauntlet and had plenty of power, but the diesel did get better mileage and seems to be more relaxed and at lower rpm than the gas, on a long trip that is helpful. But we plan on doing a lot of traveling with our travel trailer in the near future. Even though the tow rating on the ZR2 is lower than the reg truck, my trailer still is no where near the limits at 4,000 lbs. We will be going to places that having the extra off road capability will be great, even though the Z71 has always brought us through! I just like the look, plus I'm sure a ZR2 will ride better in every circumstance. The only equipment I see that come with the ZR2, that is not conducive to a lot of hyw travel are the tires! I might need to get another set of wheels and tires with a more friendly hyw tread for comfort, quiet and over the road traction, for the long haul.
Get a real truck
Oh I have a real fine truck! That goes, does and brings me when, where and how I want to go. With room for the wife and dogs, while towing our travel trailer anywhere we want to go. After a year and 16,00 trouble free miles, I know I have a real truck!
A year and 16,000 miles is nothing. 5 years and 60,000 miles is what you want to be saying like you get with the new diesel trucks. And for the price of the ZR2 you can get a 3/4 ton truck that can do you way more than a little colorado

The best Colorado it has Front and rear locker than tacoma ,tacoma had a Limited slip differential but it comes to a mudd oh dead
locker vs lcd .. of course locker is the best because both differential both lock , lsd is only limited slip so any situation like a serious offroad it will stuck
Tacoma airbags dont just randomly go off..so there is that.

I drive one for work, 38k miles (yes its a fleet maintained) but it still runs flawless
Edit: 40k now, still holding up
It's a Chevy meaning the 5% who have not had a major breakdown will defend their piles of trash.

quite fun. all modern truck are more plush that's all. many of the 90s truck and do such course's.
Its a neat little truck. I just hope they put this drive train under the new blazer and make that a good modern offroad crossover

The Chevy Colorado is a Boss level Truck.
Actually a bit impressed but you can see that independent front just not talking to the ground. Still pretty good for a small truck in 4 doors.

Wow! I have no dog in the hunt, my pickup is a Ford. It s funny to see all the haters (I'm guessing toy fans since it s a midsize truck) losing their mind that a Chevy is doing better than their Toyotas. The slip rollers are placed in specific positions due to this vehicles dimensions, I'm an avid off road driver and enthusiast and trust me the terrain in real life is much harsher than that BS

Seriously you took the S10 out of the zr2. For Colorado? Glass I ent to jeep. I had a 2000 zr2. I loved that truck. It's is the only Zr2 I recognize.
