This really took me back to childhood, when I went blackberry picking every year with my nan.
It's simple to make and can make a great gift, or keep it all for yourself!
I love getting close to nature and blackberry picking is one of the simplest foraging options.
The basic recipe I used is;
1kg blackberries
1kg apples
1kg jam sugar
1kg caster sugar (although I did not use all of this due to personal tastes)
a small swig of gin (very much optional)
