I know this was 2 years ago, but have you heard of any one using this on a diesel 2003 Motorhome with a catapiller engine. Didn't come with a lot of gauges. No turbo boost, no engine oil temp, no exhaust or transmission temp. Thanks for sharing.
I downloaded it from the android app store while connected to a wireless network through wifi. After it is installed it connects to the obd2 adapter through bluetooth.
I use a BAFX and sometimes it has caused the truck to die, while driving as well, usually when trying to pull codes or closing the program. For codes I prefer car gauge or my edge evo that I normally use for the gauges.
+Bugout Survival01 I honestly don't know. You could try using one of the cheap vgate elm327 adapters to see if it works and if it does you could then buy a better adapter that won't cut out. I used to have a 97 but it had a gauge pillar and I never tried.
Sorry for the late response lol but, i got a 14.99$ scanner Kit Best OBD || scanner and it worked with torque pro, just fine, loved it i have a 1996 7.3 Powerstroke f450 and it works
I apologize it was a long time ago and I now have a 6.7. There were some ford diesel settings in torque that I had to activate but it has been so long I don't remember exactly how. I think if you googled using torque with a 7.3 or 6.0 whichever you have you could probably find out how to activate them.

Can you get trans temp and exhaust temp if you install a egt probe?
that tool reads boost psi from the map sensor ?
thanks for sharing though im getting one either way
Will these work with a tuner hooked to the truck? 02 7.3 sct tuner.
can you set alerts?
can you do an injector Buzz test with the torque app? like you can with car gauge pro
Nope, that's one of the few reasons to get car gauge.
How do you get a app on a phone that dont have any service?

i had problems with my cheap adapter. I bought a kiwi plx and it was never an issue

Do you have any problems pulling diagnostics with Torque? I noticed most of my guages are not working. How is it set up to actually show the data?
