I know old vid, but how can you get accurate edged retention testing done when using what appear to be incredibly dull knives? I'm not trying to rip on ya dude. Thanks for sharing.
Pretty decent vid, but both those knives seem extremely dull. Even with hard use knives, I prefer to put an edge that will glide through paper at least. If you don't have one already, you should pick up the spyderco sharpmaker. It's extremely easy to use and will give you that razor edge.
The right tool for the right job kid. Cutting cardboard is not the way a good knife deserves to be used I don't care what kind of steel you got. Use a box cutter and test you real knives on real world applications. Sorry for that outburst buddy. Fine vid though.
Im very late but thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for
I want a knife made out of that cardboard lol
Seems to me you got a lot of flack from knife snobs just keep trying to hone your skills on video making you'll get there

12 minutes of my life that I'm never going to get back.

Why are you flicking an assisted opening knife? Just stop trying
😅
I find your snapping opening motion both unnecessary and annoying.
Not sure I trust a 15 year old to tell me what steel is best, but thanks for trying.
start training

I cut cardboard with knives, and I live in the real world.
