This was hilarious, I still own three XR200, they are goats. (Yes I also own modern motorcycles also) So all of my rear hubs are out of spect. I was told you can press in drum liners, but for now I just added a thin spacer on the pivot pin to get the shoes closer to the drum surface. Keep having fun!
You need some new brake shoes or get those relined. With a drum brake, when the shoes wear the cam that separates them can go ‘over centre’ you need some of us old gits to tell you how life was.

The Honda TLR200 has an 18" wheel and a drum that looks identical to the one on your xr200.

I had an xr200 and it had almost no brakes and I was too dumb to fix it.
