@@ThePsychoticOne Late but I'd really only recommend any model after the Iphone X. Android phones with the exception of bootleg brands are generally pretty fast, but if you have a much older apple model it won't reflect just how smooth and fast the processor and gpu is of Apple now

I kept using my iPhone 7+ until I switched to my 13 Pro MAX with 1 TB storage. I always liked the capabilities, look, and feel of the 7+
That’s the same thing I did I went from 7 plus to the 13 pro max I don’t upgrade every year I wait a while to upgrade
I recommend it to people who are on a budget, only text call and for a spare phone. It still gets security updates and it's decent in peformance but might need a replacement battery.
the outer design is definitely better than the phone itself, I’ve been using mine for almost 6 years. 1) I like the old-fashioned home button 2) the camera is Ok for this price 3) but the zoom is not great at all 4) has gotten super slow 5) dead battery 6) the size is great and comfy, not as if I was carrying a brick or something

Been using a 7 plus for 5 years now, and I see no point in upgrading it. Just replaced the battery and the earpiece, and it will rock for a couple more years until i get a 11 Pro Max.

It's weird. My silver iPhone X has the worst audio speaker and earpiece/mic I've had since maybe the iPhone 2G. But for some reason, I enjoy using it. It's what I use if the SE3 is being charged.
Time to clean it with a brush
I also have a silver iPhone X (not my daily anymore) and it had a similar problem where when you turned the volume up high, the speakers sound bad, and there’s a guy I know at my school who had a similar problem with one of his phones

Im using right now, performance is good but just battery need increase. Good value for money. Never regret buy it. Air pod is able to use.

I’ve seen people with these phones still. Seems to be solid despite it now being unsupported. I currently have a 14 pro, and before that I had an 11.
I had the iphone 11 and its a very solid phone. It did me right for 4 years but now i downgraded to the Se 2016.
I still have a “brand new” 7 plus, just sitting there in the box, I’m wondering if I can pass it along to my mom? It’s still so brand new looking, as I took such good care of it… the sound is so amazing, much better than my iPhone 11 I’m currently using. 😝

I’m using a iPhone 7 Plus right now, battery health is 99% so that’s good and surprising. No lag, no audio issues, and works completely fine with my AirPods. so, I’d say if you take good care of it, try not to drop it, and just keep the battery good you’d be perfectly fine and can use it.

Got my 7 plus in late 2019 and I finally dropped it for that one final time, this evening. While I will say I’ve been impressed with its durability, the screen is now finally almost completely black, yet I can still type! Excuse any typos, as I’m using it right now lol
I’m going to miss this phone very much and I’ve gotta say, I’m sad to move on. It was a fantastic 3 years and change’
Mine has been cracked for YEARS and just last night it fell off the sofa just right to make large clusters of dead pixels on the right side.

Yeah I have a problem quite recently as my phone is freezing and glitchy very often ever since I couldnt update my software. 😢
Do a hard reset and it should be fine. Also go to your battery settings and check the battery health. If it is below 80% you need to get a battery replacement. Best Buy is approved by Apple to do replacements and repairs.

I think it’s better just to invest in a new iPhone 😭, even if it’s refurbished or something. I feel like iPhone 12 and above are good for now. All have OLED screens, decent storage, and cameras.
7 plus to iphone 15 ultra is a great upgrade. Worth the wait and money :)

i've been using an iPhone 7 Plus as a backup phone with the glossy glass back, clocking in at 84% battery health. i gotta say that i love the display better than my XR, but i can't help but notice the bezels. still, this is an older phone so everything is (i guess?) forgiven.
I don't think you're using a 7+, this sounds like an 8+ because 7+ dosen't have glass back

I bоught my mom an iPhone 7+ in december 2021 to replace her iPhone 7 (because of small screen). The main problem with this phone in 2023 is lack of storage in case it’s 32gb (don’t buy 32gb iPhones).
There are 128 available, which is good, and also 256, of course, 32 is not useful at all, and 64 in the newer one is also not useful.
I used 7 Plus until December 2022, then I moved to 12 Pro Max, because my 7 Plus battery lasts so fast, slow performance, and then it is very laggy
I changed the battery for 40 dollars
and then you upgraded to a phone with the same bad battery consumption.

@@mtsproduction29 Dang. I had an 11 and then got the 14 pro last October. You’re probably not missing out on much. The only things I really like better on this than the 11 are the OLED screen and the better camera.
Mine is 8 years old and still serves me well.
I replaced the battery late last year and that’s it.
I believe that Apple no longer support it. So wondering whether to upgrade but I’m in no rush to do so.

I like the bezel look on any phone. People mention about the battery, I've got loads of old phones, inc Iphone 7+ I think it gets more battery life than any other, but I will have to do a test.
Any iphone with a home button is way better. Still rocking a se 2016 and a 7 plus.

I’m using a iPhone 7 Plus right now, battery health is 99% so that’s good and surprising. I sold my 7 plus last January 2022 ; reasons battery degradation very fast inspite of changing to new original iPhone battery and battery life weak for daily use.the 7plus processor was fast and phone had no lag whatsoever.Using iPhone 13 now.

if you are bad at troubleshooting some app bugs then its not for you. i’ve used the OG iphone, the 3g, 3gs, 4, 5, 5s, 6s and now the 7 plus. i am 28 now and can honestly say this phone is god tier. my next upgrade will jump to iphone 13 (last nano sim iphone) but realistically 11-15 all the same phone and 8 and XR are not worth getting over 7 plus. 7plus probably will be dead completely in the next 2 years but i am very excited to experience all of the new iphone changes when i get the 13!

my battery heath is 73% but lasts pretty well with light-medium use throughout the day the battery definitely isnt as good as newer phones but its pretty good for an older phone

Still using this and have been repairing the phone myself cracked the screen few times and changed the battery too. Everyone keeps asking me to get a new phone. Kind of teasing me for still using this. But it still works well. 😅 new phones don’t have the home button… but if apps won’t update then I’ll consider changing the phone.

The bezels don't matter you need a part of the phone for the ear and mic to talk.. i don't like when people press there ear and face all over the screen it gets waxi and greasey when they make the screens to big. when they hide the speaker and mic more i feel its not how a phone should be like where do you talk and hear the call is the whole side of the phone is one big screen like a tablet? 1080p adn 4k are good nobody needs that quality or anything better to recored there cat dogs eating poop and recording there food on there plate. nobody is a profestional movue maker if there not in the buiisniess of film don't need 1080p quality or better. even at 820p a camera looks good on a 8 megs pixel for birth day pictures to be honest. this phone is still high end by todays standereds i just think people have become too spoild and ungratful for what they have and everyones demands and expectstions are to high now from having everything so good bepeople want more of something they don't really need or will ever use in life and just want the best of the best to just brag about it to say they have ir to show off to people is more what people do.
