I am always thrilled to see a new Highfleet post from you. Speaking for myself, please don’t give a second thought about video length. This series is the most fascinating and anxiety-provoking series I’ve ever watched. The fact that you’re playing the campaign on hard mode with ships made by your community is nothing short of incredible.
This series has been great, your willingness to create a cool scenario with a custom hellish difficulty level has been great fun to watch, kudos to your communities design skills alongside your strategizing to make it work against all odds.
You asked for pain and suffering from the Internet, and the Internet delivered, so then you decided to roll up your sleeves and get to work. Massive video!
I think you're doing very well. Certainly better than I could have! Love the long-form video for this game but I understand it's tiring for you. Thank you.
Hey hey, nice to see that the video finally came out. No need to apologize, I think many of us who commented on your post about this two hour long video wanted to see the whole two hours. These are the most important and tense moments in Highfleet, and none of us want to miss it. It is already proving to be way more tense than the last time around. Glad to see you released the whole video.
Really love your highfleet series for all its worth. One question tho, why dont you use air to air missiles when trying to intercept incoming nukes? I've not played enough myself to know.
If it was ever in question, the question has been answered. Phros is a Legend. Non controversial fact at this point. Well played, I am so looking forward to the next episode.
So uh... I have an astronomy class in about 90 minutes, so this comment will be posted in a few different bits because I won't be watching it one sitting. Anyway, edits and spoilers belowq 1:20 Wasn't sure if the message addressed to me and the other shipbuilders was going to be a "thank you" or a "screw you." Guess you're feeling the latter option, understandable Oh, to be clear. The longform format is great and my earlier comment should not be taken as criticism, I am here for it. This is why the pause button exists. 6:15 In my testing in preparation for trying this, I managed to curve some KH-15Ps by turning radars on and off, I wonder if that was what happened to that missile 9:45 Longbow has radar, it's just hanging off the bottom so you can crush it when you land 15:15 "every garrison having nukes" ah, that explains the comment to shipbuilders earlier. In my defense, the Valiant doesn't carry nukes. 24:15 Pretty sure it's 15 hours... or I'm misremembering. I have the time written down somewhere, but not with me. Also it would still be nice to have an in game timer so you don't have to like take notes and memorize the number 27:00 Not sure T Rem meant it to take 4 nukes without repair 29:00 Love that the escape pods fire inwards and get trapped in the Donut. The crew goes down with the ship. RIP 32:30 We all knew that our ships would face airstrikes and built them accordingly. Bomb Palash is a wonderful thing. 38:40 Slingshot doesn't carry a lot of fuel, it just doesn't use a lot either. It's efficient, not a tanker 44:20 2x Mk.2 180mm SARMATs. Very fun, I like them. They're not... good. But they are fun. Especially in mass, which they weren't. Fortunately the targets weren't very armored. 48:30 Ramming is always an option 50:30 Because bombs come in smaller numbers and cluster more, they're also a lot more vulnerable to Palash. And everything has bomb Palash for exactly that reason, so they probably would not be terribly effective even if they hit 58:50 Oof. That's unfortunate 1:05:12 See my earlier comments on bomb palash being wonderful 1:08:45 o7 to that plane that weaved through 3 Sprints and dozens of cannon shells before finally blowing up. F 1:12:00 Wonder if you'd be better off sending AAM plane escorts. They'll go down with the missile if they take one out, but better than losing a ship or dying to get a single rocket to splash against Palash 1:18:45 And I need to go take pictures of the Moon or something. Or not, it's kinda cloudy. Will return to this later. 1:24:50 We're back, and that *Paladin* was very short lived. Also it was not an Archangel 1:35:00 Now you've got me thinking we should have put jammers on random late-game garrison ships just to make false Typhons.... 1:47:00 I have historically not liked AP rounds in Highfleet. This is starting to convert me This is fine. Which version of "this is fine" that means is open to interpretation. Hopefully you can catch the Typhon with all the strategic weapons available when it moves and is somewhat closer to being alone. I do wonder if nuking all those cities at the beginning was a mistake. You probably saved a lot of ships, but you have a lot of fairly useless little sensor ships now that could have blocked nukes with their faces to protect your combat ships, and leaving 8ish A-100Ns in Khiva to intercept inbound missiles would maybe leave the city fully intact here, plus you could have replaced your ablative escort Egidas with the not-nuked city gifts. But, hindsight is 20/20, armchair admirals don't win wars, and I don't think this is lost.
~27:10 It failed to load the laser guided because it didn't have enough to load all guns. It basically divides the total ammo by the number of guns and any fractions are rounded down to figure out how many shots you have. It really should show you this calculation and let you know if you'll even be able to use it.
Please don't stop this series. Honestly it's better than any tv shows out there.

This was absolutely excellent 🫶

I ADORE longform videos. Like... this trend of videos being 15 - 30 minutes across TH-cam drives me bloody nuts. I'd love more long videos.
Oh boy, oh boy, at least one good film in our cinema tonight ❤
I like your manner of commentary and gaming enough to enjoy this longer video format
You asked for pain and suffering from the Internet, and the Internet delivered, so then you decided to roll up your sleeves and get to work. Massive video!
That Kormoran fight was great. Good send off. Try to triangulate where the jammer originates - the radar at Khiva was also picking something up.
I think you're doing very well. Certainly better than I could have! Love the long-form video for this game but I understand it's tiring for you. Thank you.
10 seconds in and I see the length is that of a cinematic movie AND I AM HERE FOR IT!
LET'S Go!

Nice, love seeing the long uncut version here!
Feature length episode. Outstanding 😊

Good job keep it up
best series on yt
We love this stuff longer the better !
Would love for you to check out other turn based stuff as well.
What a rollercoaster, love it!
Great. Some much tensions at the begining !
hell of a campaign.
I can't speak for anyone else but I am ALWAYS down for multiple hour gameplay videos

now this is INTENSE!!!
Do you have any insight, things you would have liked to do better? If so, will you ever redo this campaign?

The Saidy Special 😂😂
@@Nortonius_ it's a big load (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Confusing Paladins for Archangels aside, truly relentless, but an excellent end to the campaign.
43:47 I miss the Yamato gun sounds.
Your could try ramming ships into the Typhoon?

Can the community send you reinforcements? Feel like it’s only fair after the nuke hell we’ve put you through 😅💪🏾☢️
