Oh my gosh your tips actually work like now I can walk like a full marathon on my hands and I love this so much and I appreciate this next to you should do how to do a backhand spring because I am fish I’m the only one who can do that🎉🎉🎉
These are great tips for preparing to do a handstand. I would actually like to be able to do a skateboard trick called a Street Plant which involves a one handed hand stand. After I'm able to do a regular handstand from your tutorial, I'll try mastering a one handed handstand. Then I should be able to pull off a Street Plant (popularised by pro skater Mike Vallely.)
Hi! In terms of head/neck position, I have read conflicting information about where one should look when they are performing handstands. Do you look at the floor or straight ahead (head/neck in ‘neutral’ position)? Thanks for all your tips!! You rock!!
For handstand walks it's best to look in between the hands because you have a better sense of your peripherals - if you're looking neutral and walking forward, you have no idea if you're going to run into a wall or a human. There are multiple head positions for handstands. 1 - at hands, 2 - neutral, 3 - up at your toes (most advanced)
This is great! I’m following all of the steps, but, is there a video for just holding a handstand? I can’t seem to hold longer than 2 seconds and step back down. Thanks!
Hey Christine! We will have more handstand specific classes & on demand videos in our Train Like A Gymnast membership - if you're not currently on our email list, go to our website to be sure you're notified when it opens!! I also did a Women's Health Live workout (included in our free calendar) for strength for handstands!

Handbalancing is best done on a hard surface so you can have feedback when you make adjustment. Soft surfaces are much more difficult!

Handstand walks can take most months to years to learn well, so don't give up. What part are you still struggling with and I can try to help?
