Hey guys! In today's video I am sharing with you what I cooked for my family throughout the week while trying to use up what I had in my pantry, fridge and freezer. I like to do these pantry cleanout challenges at least 1 time a month to help save money on meals. It's fun and challenging and usually comes out with some tasty meals! I hope yall enjoy! CHICKEN ENCHILADAS
2 cans of chicken, drained
2 cans of green chiles
16 oz sour cream
flour tortillas
-mix together chicken, chiles and sour cream in a bowl. place 1-2 spoonfuls into a flour tortilla and roll up. place into a greased 9x13 casserole dish and top with shredded cheese with the dish is full. bake at 350 for 20 minutes and top with pico, guacamole and lime
PIZZA TOAST
8-10 frozen garlic bread slices
marinara sauce
mozzarella shredded cheese
-spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray and place the frozen bread down. put one spoonful of sauce on each slice and top with cheese. bake in the oven according to the package instructions and enjoy.
BEER BREAD
use one package of beer bread with 1 12 oz beer and a handful of shredded cheese and bake according to package instructions. I bought mine at trader joes.
BANANA BREA
I bought this package at trader joes and added 2 old bananas in with the bread mix. prepare according to instructions and bake. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
FYI (trying to be helpful and not a Karen but) You should not try storing open metal cans in the refrigerator, because the iron and the tin can seep into the foods and taint the flavour and in some cases cause negative health effects. Keeping open cans in the fridge is especially dangerous if the food is quite acidic, such as fruit and tomatoes. ❤️ just be careful with that :)

Welcome back!!! Please don't worry about how you look! You look just fine!!! Real life is infinitely preferable to pretense!!! We tune in to your channel for what you show, not how you look. Not that there is anything wrong with how you look! I'll take substance over symbolism any day!!! I've been trying to empty my cabinets of all of the foodstuffs I have left in them so I don't find stuff in them from 20 years ago like I did the first time I reorganized them! Almost there! Nearly no canned goods or leftover pasta! Love banana bread!!! I may try TJ's mix but I do make a good recipe from scratch and make sandwiches of them. Banana frosting and sliced bananas between two slices about as thick as a slice of bread. Mmmmmm...! As always my absolute very very best to you and yours!!!! Take care!

My kids love garlic bread pizzas. Any extra sauce usually gets put into a sandwich or quart sized zippy bag & put in the freezer. Lay it as flat as you can get it so it thaws out quicker.

You've saved me many times on dinner ideas! I have a silly one to share since your kiddos are little, I used to grab two boxes of Mac n Cheese and a few hot dogs or cheddar brauts,slice them up and mix them in with the cooked mac n cheese. We called it "Butthole Casserole". My kids used to avoid the ends of hotdogs because they said they looked like buttholes. We still laugh about that one. Lol 😆

They all looked so good. I made sour cream chicken enchiladas last week but I put green enchilada sauce on top! I make them different every time depending on what I have on hand!

For anyone trying to make the banana bread a little healthier, the bananas can actually replace the oil in most baked good recipes (or applesauce or pumpkin puree 1:1 ratio)! Looks great

You are beautiful and you made some yummy looking food. My granddaughter is 2 and when my daughter is trying to cook she ends up having to hold her sometimes when she is cooking. Before you know it your babies will all be grown up! Your family is precious😊

I have all the fixings for the Texas Toast Pizza down to pepperoni& was not thinking😭 I have NOT done those in so long??? It takes me back to Dennys restaurant here in Virginia. They did Texas Toast with the marinara sauce filled with mozzarella sticks. Trust me its amazing& I have those in the freezer too😃Blessings to you& the family❤

Smoked or Kielbasa would work great!
Over 20 years ago I had kielbasa I needed to use up. I cut it into coin shape and added BBQ sauce and ranch dressing while cooking it in a skillet. Still one of our go to meals with some kind of rice and veggies. Watching you cook your reminded me of this.

such great ideas! Just FYI -- it's perfectly okay to store food in the can in the fridge -- even the USDA says so. I do it quite often and just throw a silicone lid on it. I always use in a day or two, however. I need to do a full pantry purge -- youve inspired me. :)

I fimd your channel very helpful! I love to cook but i have the problem that i very often overcomplicate things which leads to spending way too much on food! You beautifully show how you can make delicious foods in a easy way using basic ingredients and i highly appreciate that! Yes, we call it hillbilly cooking where we live, lol. We live a ways out of town and so, if we go to make a certain meal and don't have the exact ingredients, we just use what we have and it's almost always good! Btw, u look fine, that's real life!

Trader Joe’s is quite pricey; do you have an Aldi? Packaged meals costs a lot more than buying veggies and meat separately.
