You should consider putting Isabella and Luke in a summer day camp to give you a break during the day. They would burn off some energy and you could get some work done. You're a good dad, Peter. It's always a good idea to let kids celebrate the last day of school. Kudos to you.
I lived in a nice size town which was attached to a metropolis. In the summer I would check out all of the churches and find when their VBS was (Vacation Bible School) They usually lasted a whole week and you dropped the kids off at either 8 am or 9 am and picked them up 2-3 hours later. So I had a calendar for almost every week during the summer and I would bring not only my 3 children, but their friends and neighbor kids as well to each of these different church VBS weeks. They were usually free. That's how I managed summer.
Day camp is a great idea for Luke and Isabella. The challenge is when you haven't decided on it until school is already out. You have to go through the summer program offerings as soon as they come out and sign up for the ones you want as soon as they're open. This summer just look for the free days at local museums, plan some day trips to nearby state or national parks and have a camp out in the back yard. The kids can make their own Popsicles and do some cooking with you. There's lots to do!
That sounds like a great idea! I hope Peter can find something like that because the summer is so rough with kids that age. My mother was exhausted with us. And then we got in the habit of watching too much TV all day which was not good so CAMP or something else to give Peter a break and the children a chance to have fun and burn energy would be awesome.
Love you and Anthony cooking together in the kitchen!! That's right, Anthony, it's "OUR" meal, not "my " meal!! And that's right, Peter, the food is not over seasoned, it's well-seasoned, just right!
Congratulations on raising such a great guy like Anthony. Now you have two more cherubs and who knows how many more, but it will always mean love and family for you. What a blessing!
A former colleague of mine has a partner from Africa - I don’t remember what country, sorry! - and his favorite meal were… cow feet… Which is great, because… why waste most of the parts of the animal. That “only Steak and Filet - everything else is eeewwww” is so annoying and… typical of the spoilt western people. My colleague just happened to be a vegetarian and it was a true challenge.. Her telling me about their… special dinners still makes me laugh 😁
I am taking my grandchildren to the Y to teach them how to swim myself, one has soccer, other has art camp other has swimming lessons, Friday night Youth group at church..summer here we come!!!
Happy Father’s Day, Peter! You have created a wonderful life for yourself and your children and thank you for sharing with us - you are the chief of an amazing village😍
What a beautiful family. I love Peter and the kids 🤗 and the doggies too ❤️ Peter and Anthony are just amazing together. I love their father son relationship !!!!
Next year have the kids make an end of the year thank you card for their teachers…telling them what they appreciate most about them. Maybe homemade candles or soap…or a sweet pillow with fabric you can use markers on then stuffed & hand sewn. Sewing is a great activity and knitting also. Have a basket away from your doggos that has sewing and knitting stuff…beads and Jewelry making when Bella is older. Boys and girls love these crafts and their teachers will treasure their handmade gifts🥰
I just saw one of your short videos that brought me to tears and filled my heart with happiness. It was your daughter holding an African Barbie doll. Peter was telling her about his mother. The little girl was soaking it in so full of love. I want to watch that again it truly touched my heart in a profound way. You’re such a Great Father . You are healing your kids past trauma, it’s so inspiring to me. God Bless you & your family ❤🙏🏼🥰
You guys cooking together is hilarious! Anthony definitely needs to be the spice police. Go easy on that stuff cuz it's easier to put on than take off. Low sodium chicken broth is the way to go, especially if you're adding salt in other forms. Hope the kids have a great summer vacation!
My grandmother always had wise words of wisdome for me. One being, "The older you get the faster time goes.". She was so right and it applies to kids and how fast they grow up. My daughter is now 39 and my grandson just turned 14. Already his interests are anything but hanging with Grandma. Ok unless he needs something or he's bored lol. Way too fast! Enjoy them while you can
Peter little kids usually can not eat spicy food it also can cause them bad heartburn,so I would make some that is not spicy for them.I can not eat spicy stuff because of my ulcer.
Hi Peter, knowing you, youve got some great activities this summer for the kids. Looking forward to seeing Anthony start a new chapter . College??? Life us good. Love the your beautiful family. ❤💙💖💙💖
I’m enjoying watch your beautiful family …Anthony is so funny…what a cute boy or young man he is at this time….and I have enjoyed watching the interaction between all…wish I had the opportunity to grow up in such a loving and encouraging family…I wonder how each of the children will grow their own families in the future….thank you for sharing…😊❤😂🎉happy summer
Yes parenting na child is hard enough . But when u have more than one yr a champ.... ❤🎉 U should get the Father of the year award. The kids r so beautiful an funny😂.
Tell Anthony the solution to dry pancakes is Lots of Butter... Lol I would try & find a summer camp, if they still have them, it definitely gives continue activities & Learning.. 😊
Yaap Mr. M… having grown up in Africa for some spices come naturally … for most American kids.. lay low on the spices.. speaking from experience.. respect the pallet listen to Anthony..,
I ❤ that you said: “Let’s enjoy the kids” So many parents ditch their kids in Summer camp and never want to spend time with them. They act as their kids are a burden.
Your kids always fill me with pride. They are loving, respectful and appreciate their dad. Isabella's care for her little sister is heartwarming. Makes me want to hug them both!❤
That is so sweet what you did for the last day. Yes, maybe a camp would be fun for them and a break for you too. At least you don't have to now get them daycare for a zillion bucks while you go to work then come home, pick them up and continue with parenting.
You’re an awesome Papa! My kids are grown and we’ve celebrated so many graduations, preschool, middle school, high school and college. I hate that they are all grown now because it happened so quickly. Enjoy your moments with these babies and embrace each one because before you know it…..they’re grown.
Wishing you all a happy summer! During summer was when our bunch got to immerse themselves into sport camps that they didn’t get at school. Gymnastics, marshal arts, field sports, even baseball, swimming and soccer - plus art etc. they got to explore what they might like that they might not otherwise get much exposure to. It set them up for more sessions when they went back to school. It might also be a good time to immerse in an instrument
You are such a beautiful person, Peter! Your kids are beautiful. It takes a lot of time, work, love and patience to educate children. You are educating 4 of them!!...and fostered already so many other kids... You and your children are truly an inspiration. I love Anthony's reactions, they remind me of my own son's reactions at that age :) !
I dont have kids on my own, so I dont have to care much about kids activities. Anyway, I had a friend and her 4 kids from overseas on a one week holiday at my home, aged 3-17, 2 with an genetic disorder. I took them to go fishing one day, and after that they wanted to do that every day 😂. We went several times, cought amazing dinner, and the kids had fun outdoors the whole day. Made them hotdogs out at the lake, they could not get enough. We had an amazing time and it was really sad when they left 😢
Peter, Anthony is right. Too much spice and garlic and the kids will find it difficult to enjoy the meal. Remember, young children have very strong taste buds.
If you feel up to it, do as my Javanese grandma did. Cook a part in a separate pot, with a lesser amount of spices, seasoning and condiments for the small kids. Let them taste both versions, if they wish. So they can decide if they can handle the "heat".
Pro-parent tip... keep an activity bag in the car with sunscreen, extra change of clothes, a ball or two, even an inflatable beach ball, a jar of bubbles with bubble wands inside, water bottles, an umbrella for DIY shade, first aid kit, etc. In the summer, I would pack a small cooler and fill it with frozen bottled watesr and frozen Icee pops! Be prepared...and make summer fun! Hell Sunshine and Free Parks. 🤗😎
Peter you are an amazing father .Congratulations to Anthony on his graduation.

Agreed. I sent my nephew to a video game summer camp when I was a fostering him.

Peter as a professional chef listen to Anthony you can always add season you can't take it out and with younger kids less seasoning is better
Congratulations on raising such a great guy like Anthony. Now you have two more cherubs and who knows how many more, but it will always mean love and family for you. What a blessing!
Lol..Anthony is the Spice Police ✋🏻👮🏻"Put down the pepper!!"😂🤣 My son also abuses the spices, hahaha.
Best dad ever, so impressive! Hope you have a wonderful father's day weekend ahead.
Nice of you to shit all over every other father
It so fun to see Anthony and dad cooking. More pleawe
You’re such a great dad with a beautiful family.
Hey Anthony! As an American woman who married a South African man, you just got to accept the seasoning. My husband puts curry powder in oatmeal.
That sounds amazing, I’m going to try that 😃

Yes swimming lessons is a must for kids that age!
Note to Anthony: Taste buds die as you get older … lol! (True!) It looks delicious … thanks for helping! ❤️🇨🇦
Umm no the taste butts don't die, people just change what they like. If that was true no one would have taste buds left

@@BridgetCafarella peter was adding more herbs (parsley), not hot spicy peppers. I think Peter likes flavor, not necessarily heat hot.

Great job making dinner! Looks like everyone had an amazing day.
Anthony cracked me up in this video with the seasoning! You have a beautiful family!
Peter I must agree with Anthony that I do not care for over seasoning food. However, your meal did look deliciou🥰😋

So true. Even a little sea salt is a lot for them.
My son and his cousins grew up eating spicy food. It was never a problem. If you serve them only bland food, they'll want bland food.
@lilibethjones1602 Hence my grandma's choice.
