I have come to view the VMF as the "Miraculous Monkey Magical Kingdom" for orphans destined to die if not for your intervention, devotion and endless love you give these little ones (the big guys too). Thank you for allowing us to see this.

So hopeful that Floki has found his troop. If anyone deserves a good life it is he after all he has endured in his short life. Also laughing at Kofi telling off the humans and telling them to leave their adopted babies alone. Such a wonderful thing to see all these babies finding adopted mums and getting a chance to live out their lives as monkey. Y'all do such a wonderful job. I'd say your dedication, Dave, and all the staff and volunteers, are miraculous as well, not to mention taking the time to learn what milk formula works best for them, the feeding cages, everything. In their instagrm I think they said their washing machine broke down and they need a new one as well as fleece throw blankets... but I am not sure... they may need other urgent items like special milk bottle tit too.

Seems to have caught the imagination of supporters as it is 78% funded in only about a week. The LG machine the VMF linked to is 24kg capacity and that's a big machine which will account for the big price. My home machine (also in need of replacement coincidentally) is only 6kg. LG claims all sorts of fancy washing actions so maybe it will handle a large load of soiled blankets with no difficulty. If the VMF gets a brand new machine they will get a useful warranty.
I like the effort you put in to making a spacious home for the special needs monkeys that they can navigate easily in spite of their physical problems. Looking at the fluffy youngsters in Engeljie intro, I started wondering whether vervet monkeys grow winter coats which they then shed when the weather warms up again.

The babies seem to have lighter faces than the adults. Guess they get darker as they age. Been watching monkey videos of the Maquaces of India and SE Asia. Similar but different. Like an African and Indian elephant.
Teo is quite husky , (in a good way) , so healthy and strong looking . And his coat is particularly thick . Would he be a slightly different , ??? I’m quite curious as he is the first I’ve seen like him . Thanks ! Is it just that troops or monkeys in general are going to have differences depending on altitude , available foods , different minerals , etc. from others ?
I know it’s really good that the orphan moms are showing protectiveness of the babies . But those dirty looks ! It’s kindof of thankless ,(not really) after all of the time and hard work they put into rescuing and adjusting them and everything .
If I remember correctly, he was brought in as a baby after he and his mum had been hit by a car (mum killed). His pelvis was crushed. He had surgery and partially recovered but never fully.
Jusy curious, not a criticism: why are there no swings, hanging knotted ropes or balls for them to pay with in the cages? Zoos call it enrichment. Also, can you tell viewers what your budget is by breaking it down into food, salaries, medical care so if they sre so inclined, donations may be made. Thank you!

there coat does thicking for winter, they also produce an oil film that keeps them dry

All monkeys are fixed in the Sanctuary. However, the wild monkeys that have moved in, the Bandits, are wild and not fixed.
