Yes, this is the problem with pumps - they always delete after u change base location and cannot be saved in a blueprint. Tip - make a "shelves" for them, if u can't align them normally. First layer on a ground for example, then and half-block and ceiling, and place the next layer on this ceiling.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but my barrels produce 1 acid/20 mins * 4 barrels * (60/20) = 12 acid per hour not 48. Am I doing something wrong or do you need to have so much surplus impure acid you can fill all 4 material slots?
@@KIANL-GAMER how much impure acid does that require I just tried splitting 600 into the 4 slots of the brewing barrel and it just combined them all into one slot
My pumps are in a polluted area, and they're far away from any water bodies and are placed on a solid ground. Not sure if it's a bug, but whenever I'm offline my reverse osmosis filters which are supposed to turn the polluted waters into impure acids somehow turned everything into pure water.

Your pumps should bee placed far from bodies of water, then they will only produce polluted water - that's first. Second - you need to fill all 4 slots of both water purifiers with polluted water (means u need accumulated 800 units of it). After this they will start work at full power. P.S. Updated guide is coming soon.

hey. wall pump should be place HIGHER than tank's pipe connection slot, then it will take liquid from it. at the same time, the pump should be placed LOWER than purifier's pipe connection slot, then it will transport liquid into it. but better just build a new version: th-cam.com/video/--tPMDM-KiQ/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for all your videos man, great way to deliver the info needed, I did notice something that I don't see a lot of people mentioning, in my setup last season I was collecting polluted water through my rain collectors 80% of the time, this season only about 30 polluted water per rain collector (something has changed by the devs maybe) I wonder if you know anything about that or if you can research that further, that would be pretty cool to find out 100% how it works better as you know because you want need to use as much power or as many pumps, also before somebody asks; no, it doesn't really rain but I still see the collector collecting polluted water. 😶
how did you place 21 pumps? I seem to be at my build limit after placing the initial 20 in the factory. Are there other items that contribute to the max number of pumps you can have bc I have a little farm as well and am wondering if removing that would free up more pumps. I’m so confused 😢 Subbed and am excited for the future vids!

You're spot on. With the food that drops 50% more acid, boosted with fruit tea, chef rex and the gourmet kitchen specialisation I get about 7-8 acid drops per mob. Doing a silo with deviations is far more time effective as you're also getting other materials and stardust source and gold mods if you use a controller. It doesn't hurt to have a passive income but I find 4 pumps running to 2 single purifiers which then feed into 5 barrels gets me around an extra 200 a day. With plenty of power left for the rest of a base full of sprinklers lights and oil refineries etc Obviously other people will enjoy the game differently and that's ok too

If you are wondering why your acid farm is producing purified water instead of impure acid when you log off, it's because the there's a bug currently that confuses two types of pumps, if you have them. if you have water pumps in TWO areas, one pumping acid and another pumping dirty water (most likely an isolated pump for sprinklers - farming) the game will get confused and all your polluted water pumps will produce water instead of acid, whereas your dirty water pumps will produce impure acid instead of water. when you log on the confusion is undone. so one way to solve this problem is farm a lot of water first, then delete the irrigation pump for sprinklers. then there will be no more 4000 water waiting for you when you log on.
Weird I’m currently farming oil and water with 1 pump for water and 4 pumps for oil and I always get oil and water properly. I guess this is an issue with impure water specifically, not oil.
Dude i trying this and when i want build one pump on another and trying place little higher second pump , this second pump going up 2meters not 2cm like in your video:/
the problem with all this min maxing is that. You don't get oil and water. Two very essential things as well. For beginners those are way more important that doing something like this. Even if you're in a stardust area that has oil you still need purified water to brew the impure acids into acids. Relying on rain catchment is highly suspect as it doesn't work properly in some areas and only when it rains.
u placed it close to the body of water. it should be far enough from the any river shores but in some places on the map it's just like that, and ppl say this is a bug
For some reason, i cannot get the half ceilings over the tanks. I've tried putting the tanks down first, and putting the ceiling on first and either way, it blocks me from building. Its like the tank is too tall. Anyone run into this? Or maybe im using the wrong tiles?
Honestly not even sure what you would need that much acid for not to mention the fact that you're basically used all your power on acid and water generation and have none left over for your furnace stove refrigerator deviations that need power
my acid farm doesn't work when i'm not playing, btw with 10 water pumps, 3 osmosis converter , 3 tanks and 6 barrels, it only produces like 2-300 acid per day (600 impure acid - 40 acid) . Eating the Deviated Chops stuff and going to blackfeel city killing mobs for like 20 minutes grants me around 700 acid . they need to fix the barrels ratio and speed. also, why should a barrel require electrical power and why 10W ?!?
I think they fixed this after my vid 🙄 But you still can place Water Purifiers right on the top of Water Tanks. Will be the same result, but not so nice look ofc

I am unable to place ceiling pieces above water containers. It doesn't snap for me. I tried to place them and add containers after - doesn't fit :/
they patched this, so u can't anymore.
but you still can place purifiers directly on the top of the tanks, and you will have the same result.
an updated build will appear soon.
How did you get the small ceiling pieces to snap over the tanks, mine wont snap over them at all.
doesn't work anymore. but you still can place purifiers directly on the top of the tanks
@@KIANL-GAMER Ahh makes sense, Thank you
Correct me if I'm wrong but when you're not online, the osmosis and processing of the entire setup slows down for some reason.
haven't tested but this is possible
im confuse do i need tto connect the water pump you built to column to osmosis water purifier and the three water tank? thanks!
yes, that pump is need to transport polluted water from bottom tanks to osmosis water purifiers
I will publish updated build soon
@@KIANL-GAMER thanks! i appreciate your work . looking forward to it. tried this build and its working just fine. my problem is when i move the base water pumps gets destroyed. nonetheless this is superb thank you!
I am having a very hard time trying to align all the pump in one single vertical line. Took me hours to finally got it right. Alt+mouse wheel is very sensitive and I ended up having a huge gap vertically in between the pumps. Any tips on that?
Saving the setup in blueprint is not saving all the pumps. As I can’t build any pump once I extended the base tile, I ended up rebuild the whole thing from scratch every time I moved my base.
Am I doing something wrong or do you need to have so much surplus impure acid you can fill all 4 material slots?
yes, you need to fill all 4 slots. only then will be 4
@@KIANL-GAMER how much impure acid does that require I just tried splitting 600 into the 4 slots of the brewing barrel and it just combined them all into one slot
@@GamerUnderDev 1000 for each slot, as far as I remember
My pumps are in a polluted area, and they're far away from any water bodies and are placed on a solid ground. Not sure if it's a bug, but whenever I'm offline my reverse osmosis filters which are supposed to turn the polluted waters into impure acids somehow turned everything into pure water.
Raise your pumps as high as you can, if it's above sea level it will only pump polluted water
@@TGO1688 they're at the absolute highest, they're literally floating above the ground. I had a chat with someone in the official discord, it's actually a known bug, it seems I'm not the only one with the issue.
@@surrounndedbyClowns same problem and that bug works only in offline
@@Chuchi_Gucci yup
probably really bug guys, cos many ppl have same problem, as I see
you can try some other place then
Can I check is there a bug when brewing while offline. I offline for 6hour only woke up to realise I have farm 10+ unit of acid
i have a question i puted my pumps on the land in a poluted area near the sea and they still pumping sea water , i want them to pump only poluted to make acid , like you said in the video , if u put them on the land u get only poluted water , any idea what is wrong ? does that still work or ?
many ppl have same problem, try different location
Great idea, sadly, at least in my experiments, you can no longer stack water pumps like this.
1) place 1st layer
2) disable grid snap
3) alt + mouse wheel (raise it up a bit)
4) enable grid snap
5) easily place the rest layers
I tried this and it worked, but why do I produce so little impure acid every day ? Do I have to dispose of the dirty water ?
Your pumps should bee placed far from bodies of water, then they will only produce polluted water - that's first.
Second - you need to fill all 4 slots of both water purifiers with polluted water (means u need accumulated 800 units of it). After this they will start work at full power.
P.S. Updated guide is coming soon.
@@KIANL-GAMER my pump is in the water and it turns out that is the wrong one, thanks for helping
Thks. Being looking for this kind produce with formula coz I always extract too much or too slow. Need a balance. Hope can do a petrol one. But why is my wall mounted pump is 10W? Or I remember incorrectly?
wall mounted pump consumes 1W, common water pumps - 10W
how do you go from tank to pump then pump to purifier ? my pump only sucks in the water on both ends when its on XD is there a way to alternate where 1 side sucks 1 side push and ive been missing it all this time 0.0 ?!
hey. wall pump should be place HIGHER than tank's pipe connection slot, then it will take liquid from it.
at the same time, the pump should be placed LOWER than purifier's pipe connection slot, then it will transport liquid into it.
but better just build a new version: th-cam.com/video/--tPMDM-KiQ/w-d-xo.html
@@KIANL-GAMER thx a ton for the repply, will deff take a look
where is map site?
Thanks for all your videos man, great way to deliver the info needed, I did notice something that I don't see a lot of people mentioning, in my setup last season I was collecting polluted water through my rain collectors 80% of the time, this season only about 30 polluted water per rain collector (something has changed by the devs maybe) I wonder if you know anything about that or if you can research that further, that would be pretty cool to find out 100% how it works better as you know because you want need to use as much power or as many pumps, also before somebody asks; no, it doesn't really rain but I still see the collector collecting polluted water. 😶
hey, thanks.
actually I haven't tested yet, but I will in the future I think
maybe this is another bug
hello im new, i cnnot place it like you did, its says its overlap and cannot place here
great video!
Would the machine pump more water if the pump was place on a deeper water?
in my tests - no

Can you do one for Oil Pls
sure, will be soon
where do you connect the wall mounted pump besides the tanks
tanks → pump → purifiers
how did you place 21 pumps? I seem to be at my build limit after placing the initial 20 in the factory. Are there other items that contribute to the max number of pumps you can have bc I have a little farm as well and am wondering if removing that would free up more pumps. I’m so confused 😢
Subbed and am excited for the future vids!
Hey. You have facility limit 250 items (at the top of the building interface). You have probably reached it. Pumps are facilities, same like turrets, switchers, terminals and other stuff.
@@KIANL-GAMER Nope that's not it, I'm at 207/250 and I am still getting the Space is full message. I'm well under the limit for all items except Power Generator which is 7/6.
I figured it out, I had some leftover barrels from my previous farm and those appear to contribute to the max Water Pump limit. After removing a barrel, I was able to place another pump.
@@PerzyYT Rain collectors, fermentation barrels and maybe oil destillers also shares the same limit as pumps
Im running 100% Polluted Water on my Osmosis water purifiers but sometimes, besides the impure acid it also appears pure water on the osmosis purifier output is this correct?
no. if it happens, it means ur pumps extract dirty water too.
you need to move them far from bodies of water or move to another contaminated area
@@KIANL-GAMERI’ve checked all my pumps no dirty water, also all my 3 tanks are maxed with polluted water, and the 8 slots on the osmosis are filled with polluted that’s why I find it very strange 😮
@@KIANL-GAMER Found the issue, its a bug, alot of people having it, when offline the Osmosis created Pure Water from Polluted Water. i tested by disconnecting everything and filled all Osmosis by hand with Polluted Water and went offline when i cant back the Osmosis outputs had both Pure Water and Impure Acid and the inputs where still Polluted water :( If i stay logged in the output is 100% impure acid.
Well there goes your whole power grid. You can also run extraction sites with food and make like 700 in 30 mins
With plenty of power left for the rest of a base full of sprinklers lights and oil refineries etc
Obviously other people will enjoy the game differently and that's ok too
Yep, now he has no power to do starcrom purification defense lol.
@@CommandoJenkins you know you can install a breaker to turn the factory off? and turn your turrets on? it is pretty simple
@@CommandoJenkins you do know it's not hard to have switch to power which area you want

this is a good passive acid farm
Combine it ACTIVE acid farm to double the amount you get for less amount of time over time :P
I've followed the tutorial, but why does most of what output always have dirty water?
I'm in a high pollution area
place ur pumps far from bodies of water
Hey mate, i've been losing ym brain over my setup. Have 27 pumps (overkill i know but just trying to fill slots D:) even spread into 3 storage crates, all going into 1 wall pump to the 2 osmos. Have made sure all pumps run 24/7 and i still never see the slots full. Any idea what i'm doing wrong? Great guides otherwise!
this takes time to fill production capacity. if u want full slots faster, u can temporary disable water purifiers and wait until they fill up
@@KIANL-GAMER Nah figured it out i'm a fool, i'm in blackfell oil/pollu and not sure if it was changed recently but i thought oil was every 10 but pollu was still every 5 mins, but they alternate. so need twice the pumps for oil/pollu zones
I tried this, the water pump will not be saved in house preset or when you move your territory. So do this only if you already found a good base spot
Dude i trying this and when i want build one pump on another and trying place little higher second pump , this second pump going up 2meters not 2cm like in your video:/
how to build floors over the the water tanks. it´s not working
they fixed this. u can place purifiers directly on the top of the tanks
updated build will appear soon
How did you stack the water pumps on top of each other
Just hold Alt a scroll a bit with the mouse wheel for 2nd height. For 3rd and 4th it will be auto, if u place them one by one
They seriously need to streamline this process lol. Holy sht.
the problem with all this min maxing is that.
I rather do few cargo scrambles in an hour (active not passive farm) then buy acid from Nisa, cuz my acid farm is glitchy when Im offline.
Why does my waterpump also pull dirty water instead of just polluted water...
u placed it close to the body of water. it should be far enough from the any river shores
but in some places on the map it's just like that, and ppl say this is a bug
@@KIANL-GAMERcan you recommend some places then?
That should works...?
If the eels seem like much, remember this is AFk farming and you don't need a combat deviation when youre not playing
can i get pure acid from sea ?? cause my base on beach hit by
pollution
from sea u can get sea water and polluted water → impure acid → acid.
For some reason, i cannot get the half ceilings over the tanks. I've tried putting the tanks down first, and putting the ceiling on first and either way, it blocks me from building. Its like the tank is too tall. Anyone run into this? Or maybe im using the wrong tiles?
i have the same problem
im just trying to figure out how you got enough materials to even build 20 pumps . im level 32 and have no where near enough materials
when you hit 40ish you probably will. farming acid is more endgame since you need tungstein. I would just focus on levelling and collecting deviations
True, my base should produce 1440 Acid every 24 Hours but it's more like 400-500
@@HansGruberX1 yeah, seems like it doesn't work as it should. Hope it will be fixed with today's update.
man im trying to build this thing and i cant seem to get the ceilings to go over the water tanks
I think they fixed this after my vid 🙄
But you still can place Water Purifiers right on the top of Water Tanks. Will be the same result, but not so nice look ofc
@KIANL-GAMER man that's silly. We'll I'm trying another method where I raise the small foundation up higher where the ceiling attaches to the foundation instead of the side walls. It just raises everything up a few feet.
