RIP Mike and condolences to your wife and son. I lived in NZ for over a decade, battled cancer, and biker. I was struck by how well Mike described the experience of riding, sights, smells, sound, and freedom. Thank you for sharing this experience. Fly high. MLLH&R TommD
Thank you! It was an honour and privilege to work with Mike and bring his vision to life. He was a brave, inspiring and generous man and this experience with him is one we treasure, missing him a great deal.
I came across this video via Matt Laidlaw and would like to thank you for bringing this inspirational story to us all. I feel I could have had a brilliant conversation with Mike and Sue’s words have helped me as I travel along with my wife on her journey with cancer. Blessings to you all 🙏
Hi Martin, thanks so much for the kind words and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your Wife that you will beat this terrible disease. Deeply appreciated.
What a fantastic beautiful family. Enduring love for each other. Mike's legacy , his son is a living testament to his caring and adventurous nature. I hope one day his son can retrace his ride on a motorbike. Sue is superhuman, my heart and the entire NZ Motorcycle community goes out to her. Keep that light burning bright Sue. Wish you all the best in the future for what life holds for you and your Son.
Rest in peace Mike. I'm so sorry for Mike's wife. But doing his last ride gave Mike peace and freedom away from the cancer he had . I am from New Zealand and left for over twenty years. I came back and will never leave again. I ride in paradise. I ride, like Mike, until I can't anymore. Mike is a hero to his family. Aced it mate. ❤️🏁
Wow, what an inspirational film. So much emotion, so well shot and such a raw story told so beautifully. This connects, and will connect with people for years to come.
